There was no wait at the restaurant. Although there were people at dinner time. We usually, that's my wife and I stop in for a... steak. They're specialty is seafood but we always get the steak. It is a very good portion of sirloin with very little fat. Forthe most part it is cooked to the temperature you ask for. Real mashed potatoes and the vegetables are fresh. I had the carrotswhich were very good but there's not much you can do bad with carrots. Prices were reasonable, waitress was very friendly andvery nice. Unable to get our favorite waitress Robin, maybe next time. I definitely recommend it. Read more
They are welcoming and quick to seat you. We had our food quickly and enjoyed our meals. A large menu to pick whatever you are... craving. Personally I enjoy the meatloaf entree most. Gpa loves the fish, my wife has to have her french toast, The kids getpancakes or buffalo chicken tenders. They even have deserts and ice cream shakes. Everyone is full and happy. Read more
Great menu variety. Breakfast thru dinner. Dessert (I had the home made Cheesecake) was insanely tasty! I'll be back for... more. Con: Prices were a bit steep on some items. For example, just under$8 for onion rings is a bit much. They are good, but it's not like a blooming onion or anything lol. For$8.00 I'd expect outstanding mouth watering. Read more
The ladies, waitress are beautiful, the food yummy. The place is kept clean. Also the portions of food is good. Everyone is... friendly, make you feel at home. I been going for about 40 years . This is the second location in Branford, this is my go todinner. Like home atmosphere, owner keeps a good crew. Cooks are good, food hot. Very relaxing for me here, walk in just seat.Coffee is good. Great homemade hash that's not too salty, yay! Same for the home fries, and my over easy eggs are perfect. Service is equal to... the excellence of the food. Great breakfast, right down to the good decaf coffee, which is not the case in many other places.Thanks BTR! Read more
