Today I went to my local store in Branford CT, the one next to Chipotle. I normally order a drink and waters or just waters... sometimes with a tip. I pulled into the drive-thru and I ordered waters to which I heard from the employee, "ugh can you comeinto the store for that." I replied "No my 2 year old daughter is sleeping I can't come in." To which the employee replied "ughfine," in as an annoyed tone as possible. I said thank you and the he added "Wait is that *all* you're getting?!" in a shockedtone. Now feeling like a complete bother to this person, I just replied "thank you" again and he ignored me. So I drove up, hedidn't make eye contact with me or say a word to me, only handed me my waters. I said thank you again to no reply and then askedfor a drink carrier. All I got back was him rolling his eyes and another "ugh," as if this interaction was ruining his day. Ihave been going to this Starbucks for years. I have spent likely over a thousand dollars there as this was my favorite place togo. But this barista, whose name is Danny by the way, decided to completely crush all the good experiences I had at thislocation. I will now be taking my business not just to another location but to a different business entirely. The complete lackof customer service or just human decency was more than enough for me to never return. So thank you Danny you just lostStarbucks a lifetime customer. Read more

i?m sorry if today i made the stuff uncomfortable, i don?t do well with ?karen?s? or customers getting in faces. i?ve worked 5+... years at places like that including actually working here and they don?t deserve it. I?m not sure why I had to wait a half an hour for my order it really appeared that they were understaffed. I?ve been coming to... the Star Bucks for years and the workers really seem to be overworked stressed out and understaffed. Read more

I went twice this month and was highly disappointed. Before I go, I usually place a mobile order because I understand how busy... it gets around the day, so in advance of me going, I place it 20mins beforehand. Both times I went this month, I had to waitanother 10-20mins to get my drink! They served everyone else inside the first time, even though I ordered a long time ago, so Ihad to wait for the five people who ordered. The second time I went, I was asked if I had placed an order, and I responded witha yes. One of the baristas continued making other people's drinks while the others were talking and walking around, so I had towait 10 minutes. I'm not blaming them but come on. My experience started off really great! I was greeted upon entrance by the person at the register, who was super friendly and... kind. But then I noticed the person on bar making my drink in the cup, instead of the shaker. I wanted to assume the best beforesaying anything, but then she iced, lidded, and handed it to me unshaken. I then kindly asked if she wouldn't mind shaking it.She took the cup back, slammed the shaker on the counter, poured the contents into it, shook it a few times and gave it back tome with an attitude as if I had did something wrong. Today I had my heart set on a treat from Starbucks from the moment I woke up! I got a delicious Oat Milk Matcha Latte and went... on with my day... well about 15 minutes into the day. My shopping cart hit a pothole and my drink turned completely upside down.It seems like things have been coming one after another lately and I was ready to turn around, go home and cancel the whole restof the day. Instead I did something I would normally never do, and went back to get another one. Nadine at the BranfordStarbucks without hesitation during a busy morning rush made me a new, delicious matcha in less than 2 minutes. Nadine, thankyou for your kindness today. Yes, it is just a Starbucks drink. But in a world lacking kindness and understanding, making youair on the side of worst-case-scenarios and i-give-ups, it is people like you who truly make all the difference in life.
