Service was good, however, I traded out my drink and was still charged for the more expensive one that I didn't drink. Steak was... good but cold. Green beans are straight out of a can with a little extra added. They were lukewarm and tasted like a tin can.Sweet potato and butter were good. Fresh bread is amazing. We read on line about this place. First thing, you have to wait to be seated. We waited over 5 minutes. Well apparently they are... short staffed, so the waitress has to sit you. She took our drink order and asked if we wanted hot rolls. Of course we did, onlyit took forever to get one. They actually come out and throw them at you. They were good. They brought our food right after. Ihad chicken tender lunch with mashed potatoes & gravy. It was really good. My husband had catfish. He said it was good and thecoleslaw too. Our other guest had steak with mashed potatoes and green beans. He had to send the steak back because it wasn'tcooked long enough. After we were finished, the waitress said when we were ready to pay, let her know so she could check usout. It's a really cool place inside, I just wish they had more employees. Service was okay. Place was very noisy and the waiter did not hear all the orders correctly (nor did the waiter double check the... orders). All of our food had something wrong. Missing food. Burned food. I ordered a KC Strip steak medium well. It came outtough as leather and cooked well done. Will not eat there again. Read more

We stopped here after much debate and having great difficulty reaching a consensus. My granddaughter said no. We should have... listened. The booths and other furniture was dusty. The floor was very sticky. The interior was dusky. My daughter ordered ???? ???? and was very disappointed ????. I ordered the meat, a quartet of pulled pork, brisket, sausage, and ribs. My meat wasimmersed in a disgusting sea of what appeared to be a grease byproduct. My granddaughter was the only sane choice. She ordereda ???? sandwich and ????. She enjoyed her meal. Look to the children for logical advice. They claimed to be the home of thethrower roll but the rolls tasted like Hawaiin rolls. The saving grace was the manager forgiving all of our meal but mygranddaughters and our beverages. I am glad that he made a fair decision. Read more

The staff was friendly and the atmosphere was nice. The food was okay. Our waitress was very sweet and attentive. Checked on us... frequently. They come around and throw hot buns at you. We enjoyed that and the buns were sweet and tasty, especially if theywere hot. Started with an awesome blossom and our main dishes came out very quickly after we received the appetizer. Sinceit's called steak and catfish we thought we had to try both. We ordered the 8 oz ribeye and the all you can eat catfish dinner.It comes with 4 pieces of fish to start and they come around and ask if you'd like more. They bring out two more pieces whenmore is requested. They didn't seem to care that we were sharing the catfish. Both meals had good flavors but were too salty. Wonderful restaurant and food! Live entertainment. My wife had the Chicken Fried Steak, I had the 12 oz. Ribeye. Amazing! My... only complaint is that the drinks from the bar were slow. However, I will come back. Ask for Bence, he's a great waiter! Read more
