While in Branson we were looking for a place for lunch, we came across this place kinda off the beaten path. We decided to give... it a try and boy are we glad we did. Rodeo that's right a girl named Rodeo was our waitress, she was fantastic!! She helped uswith our order making suggestions on what was good there and we ordered our food.The service was fast people were great and thefood was amazing. The food was awesome! The service was just as awesome! Our waitress came around enough to see that our needs were met; not too... many, and definitely not too few. The serving size is huge! You will NOT leave this place hungry. The atmosphere was verypleasant. I will be returning to this place. The lunch was SO big, I doubt that I will eat supper tonight. This place was quaint. Food was great. The only thing this place is missing and why we probably won't be back is that they could... really use a little classic country music or some type of music to add a little ambiance to the place. I think the workers workshave a more enjoyable day and it would just be a better dining experience. Music adds peace and some Zen to the experience. Read more
My wife and I decided to give this cafe a shot. We went on Friday evening for, all you can eat catfish. The price is very... reasonable and our waitress was very nice and tentative. She deserves a 5 star rating. However, the food was not good at all. Itwas quite comical when my “all you can eat” catfish platter was brought out. It had 2 pieces of catfish, about the size ofchicken nuggets and a side of baked beans and Cole slaw, each about 2 tablespoons. I’m not exaggerating! And fries. The frieswere crispy and very good. The beans were also very good. The catfish was terrible. It had the blood line still in the filletwhich gives off a very bad taste. I’ve had catfish like this before and it can be tolerated but this fish had a very oddtaste. Maybe old cooking oil? I’m not sure. I went on and had another order of fish put in before I began to eat. I thoughtmaybe I just had a poor piece on my original order. Nope, just as bad. I will not be returning. I was hopeful that this placewould be a decent place to eat, and maybe their other food is. Can’t recommend this place enough! Our waitress Charlene was so friendly. The portions were perfect and the food was great. My... wife had the biscuits and gravy and she said it was just like her mom used to make it. I had the hash and it was fantastic. Wewill absolutely be back! Read more
The place is nice and I really enjoyed being there. The server get 4.5 stars....she was attentive and very nice.... The food... gets 3 stars. Let's analyze our orders. The ribs order.....they are great, french fries crispy and hot, potato salad it wasokay. The chicken breast order.......the corn on the cob was as expected; but I wish it had butter on it, the mac andcheese.....oh no, no, no!!!!! Not good at all.....boxed mac and cheese from the supermarket. It was very dry, clumpy andflavorless. The chicken breast.....the portion was good but it was a kind of dry, chewy and barely any flavor. I compensated byadding the BBQ sauce it was brought for the ribs. They need to improve this items or change them entirely. I wish to get themanother opportunity when I visit Branson again; but they need to improve their cooking. Read more
The host (Grand pa they called him. He made the atmosphere GREAT). The service was great also but the food was so so so good,... and us locals know where to go and not go. The proportion size of their omelets were huge. Their country ham was fantastic.Whether you live here or just passing through stop by for a great meal!!! Read more
We been in Branson since Monday. Ate at several different places. They were all expensive and a letdown. We saw this place and... was intrigued. Glad we did. The mushroom Swiss burger was phenomenal. The bun was toasted perfectly so the cheese and saucedidn’t make it soggy. The burger was the best I’ve had in a while. The service was outstanding. We were treated like an oldfriend. Fast service. Clean establishment. Friendly. Hands down the best food we’ve had this trip. We will be back. Can’tsay enough about the food. Trust me you won’t be disappointed. Read more
