Should not be allowed to force customers to debit or credit only, no cash accepted. I drove there wanting to treat the family... and well we turned back once my wife confirmed the sign that was posted saying debit/credit only cash not accepted. This inunfair If you have a bank account with limited debits transactions per month then you have to cautious where you use thetransactions. Businesses should not be allowed to push "cashless" society agenda and turn away customers that want to pay cash.Really disappointed we had to turn away and go home. To the owner: I have read your continued same replies to the othercustomers complaints on Google reviews about the debit/credit only, no cash accepted policy. My suggestion is instead ofwriting the same generic reply to customers you have disappointed and sent home frustrated, actually consider ALL your potentialand rejected customers due to your policy, consider the same repeated negative feedback you are receiving and try to do better. I ordered a cake for my daughters birthday online. She has a peanut allergy, and there was a place on the online form to input... allergies. A worker phoned me the day before to say it costs $6 extra for them to take precautions which includes cleaning thecake trays and tables etc. I asked if this was a Dairy Queen policy or if it was implemented by the owner. The employee said theowner is the one who implanted this policy. Never have I had to pay extra for the company to have common decency of keepingtheir equipment clean due to a nut allergy. Read more

Stopped going to this place as they do not accept cash at any of the Brantford locations. BUT If the debit/credit machines go... down as they did a while back then they would gladly accept cash. This place has the worst spiders I?ve ever seen in my life. Next time you?re there, look up ? hundreds of giant, thick, black... spiders crawling all over the lights, ductwork, the ordering window, and sometimes dangling right above you. If you?re tall likeme, you feel like they are all over you! Management needs to have their staff go out with a broom and take down the webs. This Dairy Queen deals in the ice cream treats exclusively. I give it five stars anyway even though they don't sell Brazier... burgers and hot dogs. They are also very community-minded as they put a building on the property to facilitate a fundraisingdrive for multiple charities to help during this time of covid .The foolish and selfish city council of Brantford wanted him topay a,in my opinion, shakedown fee of$2600 to have the small building on his property that does not provide profit for him.
