We stopped by for a drink and shared a couple of appetizers. We tried the avocado egg rolls and Buffalo chicken wonton crisps.... They were both excellent and the accompanying dips as well. The avacado egg rolls were huge. Great prices especially the drinkspecials. We will go back again. Read more
This place is amazing. Wonderful regulars that are there all the time. Everyone makes you feel like family. They really do. Oh... and an amazing young women named Ocean is over all the best waitress on staff. Very friendly always hustling and making sureeveryone is taken care of. I was in town for work and felt so welcome by everyone almost makes me want to live here. Read more
Great food and service. The live band was also good to listen to. Only comment was a few flies bothering us.
We arrived on a Saturday night around 10pm. Server's name was Ocean. She was amazing! Service was excellent! Very limited... seafood options. Food portion is normal but thought 3-4 pieces of asparagus for a dinner meal isn't enough. Steak was cookedperfectly! Asparagus, mashed potatoes and steak were too salty (especially the steak). Great prices. Would definitely go backagain though. Read more
Good food! The Tempura beans were fine. Nothing to write home about. The service was incredible! Our waitress was great and... remembered a 6 person dinner order without writing anything down. The cauliflower tacos are a good 7/10 Read more
Gave this place a chance 3 times, but think I’m finally done. Food has been amazing each and every time.. the service on the... other hand has been terrible. Saw our server walking down the sidewalk outside when we had been sitting without drinks for over10 minutes. Each time I’ve went half our table gets their food then the other half sits empty handed until it’s inquiredabout and at that time it comes out cold from sitting at the window. We got our food the one evening and had no cutlery orcondiments until the bartender (not our server) noticed and brought it over. This same night we saw our server walking down thestreet outside (smoke break) when we had already been waiting with empty drinks for 10 minutes to order some to go with ourmeals. Ended up eating with no drinks, not even water on the table. The one time we had 3 couples at the table and when thebills were brought they were so wrong she literally had me write out each couples bill that include 2 meals a couple drinkseach… then it took her 20 minutes to return with everything properly divided. This place has an awesome atmosphere, awesomefood and great drink selection, but they could use some new servers that care and know what they are doing. I am staying at the Bodega Inn, which is just across from this place, so I decided to get food from here for the first time. I... spent 40$ for my daughter and I. I didn't eat tonight. My food was inedible. I had the fish and chips. Worst in my life. So muchsalt, I couldn't eat it. Greasy thick batter, hardly any fish....even the lemon wedge was off. I had the lemon lavendarcheescake. Worst cheescake, tiny portion. We didn't eat it. The coleslaw had no creamy...no vinegarette...no nothing. Drycabbage and 3 pieces of onion in it. We've all that terrible experience where you feel ripped off. I didn't even get to eatdinner tonight folks. My daughter is out right now getting me some food because I'm so hungry and just got here from a trip. Sotired and hungry. I am truly shocked that anyone would eat here twice. Fool me once, okay ....but to ever go back? Never. Thisis all frozen food. Better at McDonalds for sure and much cheaper. Read more
It was our first time at Hudson Public and wouldn't be our last for sure. We happened to come when Laurier had an event in the... other half of the restaurant so it was a little chaotic, on top of all the people out having dinner or catching dinner beforegoing to Sanderson Centre for a show. Our waitress was friendly and checked up on us as she is able to given how busy itwas. Due to the large volume of people, the restaurant was a little slow to get orders out. But all the food came out pippinghot. We had the fish and chips and found the portions to be quite generous. The beer battered fish was delicious, you can tastethe beer. It was crispy and fluffy with just the right amount of batter. The fries were also crispy and well seasoned. Thecoleslaw was a little watery and not as creamy as expected, but still tasted delicious. The only thing I didn't like was theparchment paper between the tray and my hot food. I found that after a while, my food got stuck to the parchment paper and Iended up eating some of it. The pricing for the food is fairly reasonable for the quantity that you get. Good location for sureas it's right in Harmony Square and within walkable distance to other stores and Sanderson Centre across the street. Wehappened to be there when there was live music playing, the guy on the guitar was pretty good. Read more
