Great place to grab a quick lunch I have never had a bad experience and subs are always made exactly how I ask! The chicken... souvlaki is definitely go to sub, the pizza pizza is good as well for a pizza pizza which is not really my favourite pizza jointlol. The gas station convenience store is my daily go to for anything I need and usually carry a variety of grocery items whenin a pinch like butter, milk, sugar, coffee, cat/dog food etc. As far as staff is concerned everyone is SUPER friendly! Went in for a couple subs. First, there wasn't anyone there to help us. Finally someone yelled for anyone to come out. The girl... that came out yelled at us as she ran by that she had to pee really bad. Nice, just what I want to hear ordering food. Anotherlady finally helped us. Out of requested bread, twice. Out of bacon. out of chicken. Seriously. Watching interaction betweenwhat i thought was employee/manager was disgusting and embarrassing. The service provided by the sandwich artist was awful, and they were terribly rude and acted as if the three sandwiches we... ordered were way too much. Tried to remain friendly throughout the transaction, and was treated like an inconvenience. I thinkthis location really needs to focus a bit more on customer service, and at the very least provide an extra employee behind thecounter so they aren't overwhelmed. I was so excited when I saw there was going to be a Mr. Sub in town! We have eaten there many times and the service and quality... of food has been impeccable thus far until, Saturday evening. We have a 3 month old and on our way home from errands I knew wewouldn't have time to cook so thought subs were a good idea. I stood at the counter for almost a minute or so before the younglad with his back to me leaning against the wall got up. He walked passed me, grabbed some gloves and never greeted me. Placedmy order and he began to make my subs, which was very painful to watch. He was slower than molasses in January. The other girlserved 2 customers, 1 with 1 sub and the other ordered 3 which she almost made before he was done my 2. I ordered an assortedand the peppercorn beef sub. He was unclear how to make the peppercorn which meant he was new and I accept that but that is noreason to drag your feet. The whole ordeal took at least 15 - 20 minutes. Normally I'm very patient, but this is unacceptable inmy mind. When I got home and opened them up, mine was sticking out of the foil on one end and the other was crammed in the bagso that the bun was folded back on itself. The main reason I went there is Godfathers quality has slipped. There is also anothersub shop opening up soon so, 3 sub shops in a small town gives us very good selection. I truly hope that this is not a sign ofthings to come as Mr. Sub is my favourite place to get subs. I would like to add to this review that I contacted Mr. Sub andwas promptly in receipt of an apology from head office as well as the owners of the franchise as well as a fair resolution. Ireturned to the store and got my subs, the young man was informed of the resolution, I was treated very well, he apologized andpromised to make it right which he did. I went in to order subs...the lady who was making them was coughing every 20 seconds and her face was very red...I asked of she... was sick she said she only had a tickle in her throat (a lie) .no mask on either ...GROSS this is exactly how viruses are spreadthrough out the community..
