Best lunch menu in the city for my money. Sandwiches are well worth the money $7 for two chicken schnitzels with your choice of... tomatoes, lettuce, pickles, onions both raw and for 25 cents sautéed, hot peppers and for a extra 25 cents each sauerkraut or aslice of cheese. Plus they have mayo, bbq sauce and mustard to top it off. They have a good soup and salad bar as well where thesoup changes daily. If your in the area it's worth a try. Strodes catered my wedding on October 8th 2022. They were punctual, the gentlemen serving us were extremely polite and organized... and all of my guests were talking about how good the food was. We were running a few minutes behind and they waited patientlywhile we did our enterance and we truly appreciated that. Mixed reviews for this place - over several experiences. Pro shop is good, we?ll stocked and staffed with someone who can help... you out. Hot meals are great -usually offering a wide selection. Store is clean and well staffed. 4/5 times I?ve made a rawmeat purchase from their butcher counter have been odd - orders placed over the phone forgotten, cuts of meat not as expected orstaff being ?holier than thou? with knowledge sharing. Just a weird vibe. They?re local so we continue to support while stillseeking other options, if/when possible. Read more
We ordered sandwiches for our daughters birthday party. I ordered enough for 30 people but holy cow we got so much I couldn?t... believe it. They were a huge hit! And we sent everyone home with leftovers. We had to pick them up a bit later in the day thanoriginally planned but it was still well worth it! They are that busy for a reason. Thank you!! Really great food at a super cheap price. They sell BBQs and food. They're also a butcher. The cabbage rolls are 2.50 each. And... amazing!! They have cold salads. Sandwiches. Soups and more. Reminds me of denningers, only better!! Will definitely be comingback for more!! Good job strides!! 25 bucks and the two of us have 2 meals each. 4 meals basically for 25 bucks.. . There are so many things that I love about Strodes. Their daily lunches are delicious and the Potato Bacon Parmasan soup is... without a doubt the best soup in Canada. Period. No debate. I've been grabbing dog bones from their freezer since I discoveredthe place and when I asked for an entire cow femur for my canine they were happy to oblige. I've bought their chicken wings bythe pound, their smoked ribs, and their flank steaks. All of which were quality. They also have frozen foods which are deliciousand my wife really loved their coconut shrimp. Strodes is one of the special spots in Brantford. Read more
