After another establishment in the area canceled our reservation very last minute and left my large party scrambling for a place... to dine, we ended up at The Keg. Beautiful location inside! The waitress was wonderful and things were pretty flawless withtiming because we had part of our party arriving slightly late. The waitress didn’t even bat an eye and accommodated our latearrivals with grace. One steak was unfortunately overcooked, as it was ordered rare and came medium well. One suggestion, whenit’s over 20°C outside, you don’t need the heat blasting in the restaurant! It was quite hot and uncomfortable for some ofus. I had a wonderful experience here tonight. Faith was our server and she was fantastic!! She was kind, personable, professional,... and had great wine recommendations. The food was great as well, my friend and I shared the calamari and it was the best calamariI’ve had in a LONG time. I had the pistachio-crusted salmon and it was cooked perfectly! The food was excellent. What made the meal great was the young lady named Jessica K. that was our server. She was extremely... pleasant and very attentive. We had a large group ~ 12 and initially the restaurant was not sure if they could accommodate us. Angela the manager was... gracious in finding us a space and providing the warm welcome. We were a challenging group as we landed up with 15 people - bothThomas our server and Angela were gracious and got us another table right beside. That is truly appreciated. Food was good - itis a chain restaurant but we felt very welcome and the service makes a difference. The desserts were huge and delicious. Woulddefinitely visit again. Read more
