I have been to Zanders many times; we often went for the live music and Brunch on Sundays. This trip did not disappoint. I love... to support local and Zanders is a GEM that keeps us coming back again and again. Service staff are pleasant and prompt withordering, knowledge of menu and products and helpful in selections. The menu has something for everyone with ginormous portions.I appreciate the price of main?s as they are quite reasonable ($15-25). We ordered loaded pierogi bites and flatbread. Thepierogis had a tanginess to them and were a great bite size for a sharable. I order flatbread often. The potion was large(again, great for sharing). My friend ordered the Carbonara Fettuccine with cheesy garlic toast. It was also delicious. Massiveportions for both of us required us to box up our leftovers, which made for delightful lunches today! We ordered the triplechocolate cake for dessert, which was decadent and moist and was a great choice, in our opinions. I ordered the penne Bolognesewith garlic toast. It was a toss up between the wings and the pasta. I haven?t had a bad meal ever at Zanders and recommend tothose who are new in town or want to try something new. The Harleys on the back of the booths and large, hyper realistic photosof famous musicians add to the ambiance. Good food, good selection EVERY time. I had the ZZ Top burger with fries and gravy. The place was very busy for a weekend at lunch which is usually a good sign. The... decore is nice, building is well maintained. It looks small on the outside but has quite a bit of seating and a decent sizepatio. Even with the busyness, waiter was fast and attentive. Price was good and portions were large. The burger was a pattywith bacon and veggies between two grilled cheese sandwiches. I have had similar burgers but this was my favorite of this type,the grilled cheeses were both full size. Came on a kids-eat-free Sunday. Switched it up and ordered garlic shrimp with cheese and bruschetta mix with chips and pitas to... start; not garlicy enough, no seasoning but still good. The ordered kids lemon pepper wings with caesar salad; good size wings.Caesar dressing seemed to be the real kind and not store bought. I love that kind of caesar dressing; for a kid it would be toospicy from the garlic - my son never ate it I had too. I ordered Mediterranean shrimp pasta. Good size, buy again noseasoning. I've found that quite a bit at this place; more seasoning please. Oh and coffee dame out warm not hot was able togulp it. And always seems to have messy floors when we are sat. Like ever time and was in the same area of the restaurant that Iseen the mess before. Takes 2 more extra seconds to check to floor after wiping a table to make sure no big things are on it forthe next guests. Stopped in today for a late lunch/early supper. We were seated promtly, in a booth by the bar. Ben was our server and he was... very pleasant and had a quick witted sense of humor, which we loved. We had been to Zanders several times previously, and bothmy husband and I chose meals we hadn't had before. I had the Philly cheese steak with poutine - delicious! My husband chose theTriple Decker Tour Bus burger (burger, pulled pork, dusted onions, bacon, cheddar and all the other usual burger fixings). Itwas massive and looked incredible.
