We came from St Louis, Mo to visit family and we had dinner at the bistro. Gino and his staff are fantastic! The food is... exquisite! I had the Chilean Sea Bass and it melted in my mouth! We were here for Sunday bunch, so I didn't get an opportunity to sample their dinner cuisine. But with that being said, I... enjoyed the self-served breakfast buffet. The food is great, the atmosphere is superb. We have never had a bad meal there. From the steaks to the pasta and especially the... Sea Bass. If you want to go casual, the burgers are as good as I have had. David, behind the bar, makes great drinks and if youneed a kind word you can count on him to give you one. I don't live there, but enjoy the interesting people and conversationswith the people that do. It's a great night out. I highly recommend it. Read more
So have some pros and cons.. Food was well cooked and had a really good selection for a decent price, I had a hard time... deciding as I wanted to try a few things. Wait staff was friendly and came back regularly to check on us. We went on a Satnight and had made a reservation. Front desk did not know we had reservation and waiter dropped food on floor within our firstminute being there. Our waitress did not mention the specials, the table next to us did though.. and one of our plates wasserved to the wrong table and then handed to us... It seemed the overall mood... is the restaurant is past its prime by a fewyears. The wait staff though they tried seemed not prepared. The decor was outdated and for the price would of expected morefrom the food. Overall good experience but not enough to make me have an urge to come back. Nothing stood out for us. Read more
Lived here for six years and this restaurant provided a luxurious sanctuary from a high stress job. It was the perfect... environment, a restaurant with a bar and it's on Lake Erie! The grounds were superbly maintained inside a gated community. Iate at the restaurant often enough to know the consistency and quality of the food served. Linen table cloths, professionallydressed waiters/waitresses and the cleanest restrooms anywhere made for memorable experiences. Here is the surprise, the food isMODESTLY priced!
