Most people already know about Mendocino Farms (aka Mendo) but for those of you that do not here’s a quick intro/personal... opinion from me: Mendo is a great place for lunch, covered patio, AC cooled inside seating and friendly staff. Regardless of howbusy it is, it will always look like it’s busy inside because the staff is doing a lot to make the place clean and topped offin every way. Napkins holders are full, drink dispensers are never empty for anything longer than 10 - 20 minutes, staff isalways available to answer questions or help get containers, food is always sourced from environmentally aware locations, menusare labeled with info for Gluten-free, Vegan and other dietary restrictions and it tastes delicious. None of the food isn’tgoing to taste exactly compared to the actual dishes from a store that just serves those dishes or sandwiches but I feel likethat’s mainly because of the sauces and how Mendo chooses flavors, but that doesn’t mean that it doesn’t taste delicious.At this location they have lemonade infused with different favors that were really good (rose lemonade, turmeric and lemongrasslemonade and a green power lemonade with ginger, celery and other goodies). My wife ordered the Smoky Chicken Elote Bowl and Igot the Pork Belly Banh Mi. There were a few small things that were pointed out with both dishes (pork belly was a little morefatty/oily that my wife would have liked and the chicken breast was a little dry in the Elote bowl) but they were still reallygood and the perfect amount to fill you up for lunch without having to make you take a nap before getting back to work. Again,super nice staff and they are good and fast at what they do. Gotta say it was a nice lunch date today. Also the last item thatwe enjoyed was no more table numbers, you take your receipt scan a QR code on the table and type your order number for the staffto know where to bring you food. Read more
$27 dollars for a salad and sandwich. And it wasn't very good....just ok. Wont be eating there again. Sorry guys. I had the... crispy chicken sandwich. The veggies on the sandwich were wilted and not crispy, the chicken was 2 breaded chicken tenders(cheap).....not even a breast of fresh chicken for the price they charge. The sandwich was dry and it came with nothing....justa small sandwich. Very disappointing. Then they ask you to scan a code that's on the table INSTEAD of just giving you a number.I guess they don't want to look for a number with only 10 people in the restaurant. Had one of the best food experiences here! The staff is so friendly and they are attentive to families with kids. Wow what a great experience at Mendocino farms:) I usually go to the location in Tustin, but chose this location today. Mo and... his team are excellent so friendly, efficient, and keep the location super clean. I was feeling indecisive on what to order andMo took the time to ask what I normally order and what I like to eat. He was super kind, helpful, and patient. Great to seepeople who truly care about their customers. I highly recommend this location as everything from salads to sandwiches comes outperfect ???? Read more
I thought I was getting a good sandwich and salad. My sandwich was $12 somthing and my salad was a whopping $15. Both are so... small and pitiful, I feel cheated. Eveything was so cold I had to wait until it became room temperature to taste it. Read more
If you're looking for a great meat tasting sandwich that's vegetarian you have to try the Unreal Ruben. It's so good and I... couldnt believe it wasn't made of meat! It's a plant based sandwich. Rye bread, coleslaw and pickle inside with a bit ofkick. I took of a star because 1. I asked for white bread instead of rye, as I don't like rye bread, but they still made itthat way. The redeeming factor is that it tasted really good despite being rye. 2. Service was a bit slow. All I ordered was asandwich and it took a good 15 minutes to get it. Fresh ingredients and nice shady patio spots to chill and eat. I had their chicken and prosciutto salad. Their pesto dressing... was on point and veggies were very fresh. My wife had Vietnamese bhan mi - in salad style instead of sandwich. Verydelicious. I would highly recommend this restaurant. Read more
10/03/2022 Update: Still fire! They have the craziest drink selection of any restaurant! My salad was crazy good!
