I have been going to the place since I moved Lagoon City this year. The food and services are awesome. The pizza is really... really good as well as the bakery there. The owner and staff are super friendly. Today I tried to order a pizza but theystopped taking orders. I ordered a slice of pizza and a piece of shortcut. I was shocked that the slice of pizza was free ofcharge because they could not take my order. Wow, what a neighborhood restaurant. Lovely. Read more

My wife wanted to surprise me with a family dinner. She called and spoke to one of the owners JOE. He said to my wife. 8 people.... Easy! THEN he went on to make suggestions that were amazing and he recommended FAMILY STYLE service. Well let me tell It wasfantastic actually better than fantastic. The pasta was fresh. Love, love, love this restaurant!!! Everything I have eaten here is beyond delicious!! Fresh ingredients and homemade flavourful... sauces are what makes their pasta and pizzas sooooo good!! I was up at the cottage this weekend and wanted a break from grilling. We took the family to this gem! Loved it. We had stuffed... canelloni with chicken, salad,dessert and my kids loved the pizza and ice cream. The staff was very friendly and welcoming. We have been here 2+ years and we have ordered from them many times. The pizza with the dough cooked a little longer is our... favourite We order pepperoni pineapple green peppers olives. Fantastic. Stopped along our ride, we each had a slice and a drink. Those that worked there were all friendly and kind. Asked us to "be... careful on the road" and "how far we are going", etc. The place has other options too, pasta, custard tarts, cannolis, etc. Alllooked so good! Will come again. Read more

Absolutely fantastic! This is my first time here and I came for the breakfast buffet, I came with high expectations and was not... disappointed! From the eggs Benedict to the fried ones, all was made fresh and was tasty. I had an amazing cappuccino, somelovely French toast, and more! Oh , the cannoli and the Tiramisu was to die for. Congratulations to an amazing team. Thewaitress was attentive, detailed and kind. You can tell she loves what she does, it truly makes all the difference. I saw this restaurant had a great rating and was in a neat town so I checked it out. The first thing we get is complimentary... bruschetta. Are you kidding? That's already worth 5 stars and it only gets better! There was a large selection of beveragesincluding Italian beer. The menu was great for a full meal or a light lunch. Having been to Italy this is the only "authentic"Italian restaurant I have ever eaten at in North America that deserves that title. All of the food was fresh and tasteddelicious. You cannot buy the food that was served in city grocery stores. The prosciutto was not overly salty and had propertexture, the boccocini tasted fresh and was not over powering, and the fenel in the sausage was well balanced, enhancing theflavour instead of destroying it. The canolies we're fantastic, the best I have ever eaten. The shells were crisp and andfoavourful, and the filling was very fresh and not too rich. I highly recommend visiting Lanterna Ristorante North even if itis a bit out of your way, it is worth the drive. Can't wait to go back! Read more
