Made a reservation for 4pm (during happy hour) days in advance. Got to try a bunch of different apps and drinks! Not a single... bad thing on the menu! The drinks were outstanding! If you come here for only the drinks, you certainly won’t be disappointed! Read more
Excellent dinner and drinks! Our server, Joel, knew the menu inside and out and provided excellent recommendations for... cocktails (Obi-Wan Old Fashioned and a gin based seltzer called Passion for Winter). The beet salad was light and refreshing,the filet was cooked perfectly, and the chicken & dumplings were very tasty. The chicken portion was large; we would havepreferred a little more dumpling and a little less chicken! We enjoyed being able to see all of the different dishes coming outof the kitchen and wishing we could have just one bite of each! We came in for lunch and it was very nice and relaxing. The staff was friendly, but did say they were running on a skeleton... crew. Ordered drinks and food. Drinks were great, the food was terrible. The brisket was almost all fat, only a couple bites ofit were edible. The brisket sandwich said it had queso and carmalized onions, but it was just cheap cheese and plain onions. Thebeans also were very watery with hardly any actual beans but mainly more chopped up brisket fat. It was very unappetizing. Wedid point it out to the waiter who said brisket is normally fatty but would talk to the manager. This isn't our first time herefor lunch or dinner, but this was the first time the food was downright terrible. The manager did take off a sandwich and 50%off the check which was extremely generous and super thankful for! He did say they will be improving their brisket. Will be backto try again as this wasn't the same as we had had before foodwise for their BBQ, but hopefully there will be improvement. Read more
LOVED this experience! If you enjoy spirits (especially bourbons), this is a must visit. Very cool dining area with bourbon... barrel decor and the spirits live up to their accolades. We had heard that the restaurant was just as good as their spirits,5-Star Renowned, which I can confirm. I had the Grilled Bang Bang Shrimp Rice Bowl and it was full of flavor and still light onthe stomach (but filling!). My buddy got the Sticky Pork Ribs as recommendation by our server and he wasn’t let down; he lovedthe sauce. The Tasting was informative and fun. Tried the two free sips and then paid $8 for 3 samples of the higher endbourbons (which were awesome). I recommend the Madeira Finish for a subtle finish and the Rum Cask Finish for a richfinish. Even the “basic” Bourbon Whiskey Blend was great. Took a bottle back to WI to enjoy. Read more
Loved the drinks here, especially Genever Juice. The apps were kinda salty to me.
