What a cute shop! We stopped in for some peanut covered toffee and ended up leaving with two caramel apples, and tons of... chocolate! Appalling lack of service paired with disgusting attitude/treatment of customers. About 4 full families/parties show up 10... minutes prior to closing time?. The door is locked but all lights are on inside and the employee (some young kid) sees us, thenignores us, goes to the back room to shut off the lights, and continues to ignore us. We knock on the door, confused as to whyhe shut down more than 10 minutes early, and he screams ?we are closed!? in a very rude tone. I ask why, given there were about20 people wanting to come in, and the scheduled closing time had not yet arrived, and low and behold.. he continued to ignoreus. It was clear that this young kid simply wanted to cut his shift short and therefore turned away business and treated hopefulcustomers poorly. If I were the owner, I would want to know about this.. and this kid frankly needs to be held accountable. Read more
