Very upscale grocery store. Salad bar, cheese bar, sushi, large wine section, deli, large made-to-go section, beautiful produce... and floral department & friendly staff. Beautiful area of town as well. Goes hand in hand. Love it when we're visiting Ohio!!! Read more

I live in Cincinnati, I drove up on November 5th to order a catered Thanksgiving dinner so my 75 year old mother can spend more... time with family and less time preparing dinner for 12 on Thanksgiving. I ordered the whole turkey dinner(1 cooked turkey feeds10-12, 5lbs mashed potatoes, 4 lbs stuffing, 15oz cranberry relish, 2 quarts gravy), turkey breast dinner(5lbs turkey breast,2.5 lbs mashed potatoes, 2 lbs stuffing), 1lb cheddar au gratin potatoes, 2 lb sweet potato casserole, 2 lbs greenbeanalmandine, additional 15 oz cranberry relish, additional quart of gravy. At the time of the order they would not acceptpayment. So in order for me to pay for the catered dinner I estimated the cost of the meal and bought a $260.00 gift card. Theplan was my parents would pick up the meal on Wednesday, 11/23/2022 and use the gift card for payment because I could not bringmy family up until Thanksgiving Day, 11/24/2022. On Thanksgiving day I arrived at my parents and inspected the order. The onlything Heinens provide them was the 1 whole turkey dinner for $129.00. My parents used the remainder of the card balance topurchase additional items. BTW we are having dinner on Black Friday due to work schedules of other family members. I took apicture of what Heinens gave my parents and I retained the copy of the receipt. To top all this off Heinens is closed on BlackFriday and now we will have to go to Giant Eagle to make things right. Heinens has been such a good store for so long I trustedeverything to be perfect!...I was completely wrong and I will never trust Heinens again! Read more
