One of the most pathetic Taco Del Mar in the area. I love supporting local and have given this place several chances but every... time I go in the Indian lady behind the counter has been super rude and even yelled at an Uber driver as they walked in.Definitely not supporting a business that has no respect for people. It makes me sad to write such a poor review of this restaurant, but my husband and I had a super negative experience. I ordered... 2 enchiladas with shrimp. This is all that was in my enchilda: a super dry shrimp stick. One would think when you order shrimpin your enchilada, it would be literal...shrimp. On the menu, it said shrimp. Not a fried shrimp stick. My enchiladas tastedhorrible. There was no taste to them at all...as to be expected if the only thing in your enchilada is a fried fish stick. Theflavor I could taste was disgusting. This dish was truly inedible. (Pictured below) My husband ordered a carnitas burrito thatwas filled mostly with rice. However, he enjoyed his loaded nachos! Maybe we'll give this restaurant another try sometime, butit will be quite awhile before that happens. Their prices are expensive, so I expected way higher quality of food for theprices. Read more
I was looking for a tex-mex spot and glad I tried Taco Del Mar. I had vegetarian nachos and they were delicious, made to order.... I like that they ask if you want shredded or nacho cheese because I very much prefer shredded. It was easy to get in and out atlunchtime and the staff was very friendly. I would recommend and will visit again. Read more
The first time I came to this Taco Del Mar I wasn?t really impressed but I did give it a second chance and I was blown away by... the difference in the food quality and taste! Made me fall in love with Taco Del Mar tbh. The teenage girl who I didn?t get hername was pretty laid back and easy to talk to, really great customer service! Will be coming back for a burrito again! They got my order together pretty quickly, but they got my taco salad wrong. It was disgusting anyways. Their salsa was... basically just liquid and it didn't have any flavor. The "queso" tasted almost like taco bell cheese sauce, except it had aweird chipotle taste added to it. The entire meal was just disgusting, and I'm not usually picky when it comes to Mexican food.Maybe their other choices aren't as bad, but when a taco salad is under the recommended items on Ubereats, I expect it to atleast be decent. The one positive thing I can say though, is that their tortilla chips are good. Read more
Found a rubber band in my food . When I called to let them know . The lady asked me ... where did I get the rubber band... ??? Uhmmmm... in the FOOD YOU GUYS GAVE ME . Manger wasn't there . Didn't even offer a refund. Basically felt like I was beingaccused of trying to get over on them . When in reality in just a middle class worker trying to get by & have lunch. Definitely not the way you should respond when being told you have items in your food. Will not return. Read more
