The jack fruit tacos were bomb. My wife got Mac?n cheese and loved it. So glad this isn?t the Chinese restaurant anymore.

The waitress was not friendly at all. We ordered nachos, asked for no jalapeños or beans. Asked if they could add onions and... tomatoes. She said she thinks theyre out of beans anyways. And that she thinks they come with the tomato and onion. Which isnot what the menu said. So we basically had no idea what would come on our food. It was horrible. We love this little hole in the wall. Recently we went there since our family loves their crab wontons and they changed the way... they serve them and the cream cheese filling tasted different. Food is excellent. It is so NICE to have a bar with pool tables, enough so you don?t have to wait for a game to end just to play... with a buddy. I love the quaint ?home style? feel it has, the owners are humble and kind. And the kitchen staff works their bumoff. Friendly red head we had tonight. Bbq pork was dry and the portion was so small I weighed it at home. It was under 2oz of bbq pork and when divided with my friend... we both had 4 pieces. I paid $13 for that before tax I think. The orange chicken and general tso were both battered in a thick,cake-y tempura batter that absorbed the sauces almost instantaneously, and the meat inside wasn't particularly tasty. Now, I'venever had this problem here before, but the entire experience was so dismissive and unprofessional i figured it might just benew workers, but everything from the core ingredients to the sauce was so unsatisfying. My total order was $60 before tip. Myfriend and I ate about a quarter of it and didn't bother with the rest, and we so hungry for food from this place all daybeforehand. We have come here for years to have Chinese food but, now the place has been redecorated and it is really more of a pool hall... with a few tables than a restaurant. We asked the waitress for some Chinese hot tea and she did not know that was a specifickind of tea. Someone had apparently told her what we were talking about because, she came back telling us that Chinese tea isOolong tea, which we knew that. The meal was not good and the wonton soup had chewy undercooked wontons. It was also very noisyand the tables were not properly distanced for COVID-19 safety. The onlypositive thing about this visit and the only justification for the one star rating was I liked the sweet and sour sauce, it wasnot to sweet or sour and didn't have so much red coloring. Ok so I've lived here for 10yrs...at first the food here was jyst edible. Gotta say today after not eating here fora few years... this place has surprisingly changed. I had something simple Garlic Chicken wings. They were flavorful juicy crispy spicy but nottoo much. AMAZING! I'm so glad they had new ownership. I did think the egg rolls were very very gra greasy but they weredelicious. Their sweet and sour sauce was tasty. I've gotta say...BRAVO Golden Mum for stepping up your game. You finally made abeliever out of me so you get 4 stars. If you could try to figure a way to not make your filling to your egg rolls so greasyyou'll get that next star.
