Way over priced for small serving of food, waiter was more concerned about telling us how much extra things would be rather than... providing good service, then got the order wrong and still charged us extra. Wife ended up taking her dinner home. Manager didgive a 20% discount. All and all bad dinning experience. We have been customer there for 4 years and have noticed the changes. Iand my wife feel if your going to go up on prices and serve less you should at least do it better with service and tast of foodspecially when Mexican restaurants are a Texas staple. Read more
Absolutely outstanding. Pricey but worth it. Very prompt service. I had the Cabo Enchiladas. The wife had the summer plate. The... salsa and green sauce tastes homemade. The chips were nice and warm with prompt refills. My enchiladas were the best. The riceon my plate was different from the rice on my wife's plate. Mine was better. Her charro beans were just beans with some baconand cilantro; could have been better. Everything else was among the best Tex Mex I've had. I had the jalapeno margarita andshe got the skinny margarita. Both were awesome. Overall, would come back if ever again between Austin and Houson and need tostop for some Mexican food. Read more
Not what it once was. Not sure if when owner isn?t around standards drop? But just felt like they pushed food to the table with... no real quality assurance. One star review is accurate for my individual experience. I would suggest chefs taste a bit of thefood before sending it out to ensure it is up to the standards. Read more
The name of the place is Mexican grill and steakhouse, and they live up to both. My son had chicken ribs and shrimp rice and... beans and loved it, and I had beef fajita Taco plate, and it was delicious. Not like traditional Tex-Mex fajitas, but amazinglyflavorful. Very authentic Tex Mex food in Brenham. I ordered the Fajita Trio and the portion size was huge. Plenty of beef, chicken, and... shrimp mixed with onions pepper, and Jalapeno's. It came accompanied with rice/charro beans and pico de Gallo. The menu has ALOT of options to choose from. Came here twice in one week and the chipotle enchiladas were fantastic. Ordered El Campo Nachos (small) w/chicken fajita, they were a bit soggy because they use thin tortilla chips. Nevertheless they... were delicious! You could taste the freshness of the guacamole which was my favorite! The chicken was very flavorful and juicy. Service was great and the restaurant gives pleasant atmosphere. Read more
