Visited 9/3/22 Food was amazing. Got the salmon platter with jallof, spinach a side of plantains and some stew. Ordered it... extra hot and it brung the heat (in a good way). This Place ???? I visited Spice Kitchen for the first time on Saturday August 27, 2022. I Ordered The Mouth Watering Suya Styled... Blackened Salmon Plate and Added Some Jumbo Grilled Shrimp Seasoned With Their Suva, with a side of Jollof Rice and Spinach/EfoRiro. Finished Off My Order With Some Puff Puff. I Do No Exaggerate When I Say This Food Was So Good, I Intentionally DidntFinish It So I Could Have More Later. The Second Plate You See Is My Friends Order. I Almost Didnt Get The Picture. She DoveRight In, And It Was Over From There. We Got To Meet The Owner, Who Was Front And Center Working Along Side Bis Employees. TheRestaurant Was Clean, Employees were extremely courteous and Professional. Food presentation was clean and fresh. I willdefinitely be back here soon, and likely to be a frequent flyer. Yum! Delicious! Banging!! After seeing this spot featured on local news had to go? quickly. Glad I did. We ordered the chicken,... shrimp, salmon, jollof, plantains, grilled corn, zobo lemonade. All were hitting. Chicken was mouth watering. Fresh shrimp.Salmon cooked perfect. Portion sizes are great. Just reheated and finished off leftovers and still fire!! Will be back! Read more

This place is finger lickin good. It?s a great spot to order modern Nigerian meal. I would recommend the wings (spicy and sweet)... and the white rice and stew. I have only ordered from them via Ubereats and not sure what ordering in person would be like. Ihighly recommend. Read more
Got a chance to try this spot in the Mixt Food Hall and really enjoyed the wings! They are crunchy on the outside and tender on... the inside which was perfect. The jollof was decent but the not best I have had ..it didn't help that it wasn't hot. The eforiro was tasty but could have used a bit more kick. I visited the Spice Kitchen West African Grill located in the Mixt Food Hall twice in a row for the jollof rice. It?s... undoubtedly the best jollof I?ve had in the DMV. The spice kitchen is top 5. I cannot wait to come back here. The food was hitting. The salmon and the chicken was great, I was a... big fan. It's located in a food hall but you should definitely just go straight here. If you don't know what to get, get thesalmon and get some of the in-house sauce on the side. You will not regret it.
