I love LOVE LOVE Mai Lee Restaurant! I literally order almost the same thing! A Mai Tai, fried vegetable spring rolls (which is... THEE best because it comes with lettuce and cucumbers) and a tofu dish. My new favorite is the lemon pepper tofu dish withvegetables. Now I?ll be honest, I don?t know the Item Number nor the name, but I promise you, if you order it - they?ll knowwhat it is :) It?s a great location with lovely covered parking. Wow is all I can say. I?ve eaten in Vietnamese restaurants coast to coast and even in Paris. This one is one of the best. ... There are items on the menu that you don?t normally see in Vietnamese restaurants. Most people think of Pho when they think ofa Vietnamese restaurant. This restaurant is supposed to have terrific Pho, but that?s not what I was wanting. I?ll try thatnext time. I ordered a traditional Vietnamese meal ? something that many Vietnamese people grow up with. White rice, Cá KhoT? (Carmelized and braised catfish), Canh chua tôm (Tamarind soup with shrimp), and rau mu?ng xào t?i (Water spinach withgarlic). Everything was so good and tasted like it came out of my mom?s kitchen. I had an amazing experience. When I arrived the place was full of people and the waiting time was 20 min. but it only ended up... being like 8 minutes. The service was attentive and friendly. The food was of ultimate quality and all the flavors were justperfect! I would definitely recommend this place and will continue to go there to try more of their fantastic menu. 10 out of10! When I lived in Missouri, this was our go to spot. Drove through 8 years later and had to stop by here again and of course, it... did not fail me. Food was still great and the service was great. If I'm ever in the area, I will be coming by again. Read more
One of my favorite Vietnamese eatery places. My friend loves it too & always requests to go when she visits, she lives 2 hours... away. Very affordable and they have generous portions. Beautiful atmosphere. Worth going. Read more
Oh my gosh is the food here good. Nothing was overly salty and it was all authentic. This is the first Vietnamese restaurant in... Missouri that I have eaten at that exceeded my expectations. The waiter was extremely friendly as he helped us order and crackeda few jokes. The place was fairly busy, so if you get unlucky you might have a short wait. It was a shame that they ran out ofbanh mi as I was hoping to give it a try here. Regardless, it is my new favorite Vietnamese restaurant. Read more
