Sorry I went out of my way. They are doing too much--nice pottery but really people! Sometimes it's better to do few things... well. Empanadas de cambray had lots of vague dough w/ puny amount of filling and much space in between. Why would they putyellow food coloring in pan de yuca? Mini almojabanas were not fresh and lacked ..something. I will go back to La Pecosa, EastMeadow. Read more
Everytime we come to Brentwood, we have to go to La Espiguita! They have so many different Hispanic foods, and desserts. We love... the empanadas con carne and cheese ones are great too! Their pupusas are the bomb! And they got tres leches cake, andcheesecakes and all kinds of different goodies. They also have traditional drinks- like Morir Soñando! Their prices are decent,the people are welcoming. The location is right by the road and maybe a sketchy area, but we don't care -we used to live there! Read more

I had a horrible experience at this place. I ordered a cake for my son's baptism, the person who took my order said the cake... would look exactly like the picture I provided, when I went to pick up the cake I was very dissapointed. It was misspelled andmissing words (look at the picture) The "manager" that was there that day was very rude and had zero customer service skills. Itold her I wans't happy with that cake and she told me - "OK, here is your money" and she handed me my money back, which by theway was almost $200. And exactly 3 hours before my son's baptism. Excellent bakery! Their tres leches with peaches and cream cake is perfect and they did a beautiful job on our son's first... birthday cake. Highly recommend. The cake was also very reasonably priced compared to other bakeries. Minus 1 star because I hadto wait about 30min after getting there at the time I scheduled the cake pickup for, but luckily we gave ourselves some extratime when we placed the order. We purchased a cake for a baby shower there, worst thing ever. Cake was so soft and full of milk that it was crumbling under its... own weight... See pics for falling apart of the icing.. Waste of money and time.. Buyer beware.... Would never go back there. Read more
