Expensive and not tasty food. Maybe they are short-staffed. You can see the servers are not well trained or have no idea what... they are doing. Pork chops were very dry. Still recovering from all the Jaw exercise with those chops. Read more

We were staying at the Brentwood Bay resort and had breakfast at the Arbutus Room. The dining experience was horrible. Food is... bad and the service is even more terrible. When we got there, the staffs looked at us and then looked away. It was not crowdedthere, only a couple tables. They looked at us without greeting and then turned to each other. That happened a few times likethey were discussing who should take care of us. They treated us like we were inferior.\n\nThen came the food. I ordered thehealthy start. They brought out yogurt with no spoon and expected me to eat yogurt with a fork. The ?homemade? granola was theworst I have ever eaten, like those cheap energy bar got chopped up. Yogurt was served with cantaloupe and pineapples????????????. The pineapples were sour which made it pretty gross. The menu describes the ?healthy start? to include berries.Little that I knew the ?the berries? only meant 1 single tiny strawberry with the calyx still attached.\n\nThe waitress cameover and asked if everything was good. I answered ?it is okay?. Her response was ?just okay?? without even asking what was notgood. Her tone was like how dare you just say the food is just okay.\n\nOverall, service was really bad, rude and disorganizedeven when the restaurant was slow. Food was bad. Although the stay at the Brentwood Bay Resort was awesome, too bad we left thatplace at a bad note. If you stay there, your money will be better spent dining elsewhere. Read more

Very mediocre for price. Food was simplistic. Fish was overcooked. Eggplant with dry faro was a let down. Service verrrrry slow.... Expecting more when several mains >$40-50 per plate. Read more

Really fantastic food and even better service! The homemade pasta was really great. They are also vegetarian / plant based... friendly. Definitely recommend giving it a shot :) Read more
