We arrived and was told that the patio was full. We were shown a table inside, we asked to be moved once a table outside was... available, the server said no. We stayed and asked when tables were available. They moved us and all was corrected. I willreview the food after our meal. Our food was very good, and this is one of the best patios near Victoria. We went for lunch earlier today. Waiting 45 minutes for a bland caesar salad with bland chicken and a tiny tuna roll is... unacceptable. The server checked on us 3-4 times while we waited for our food - her effort was appreciated BUT that did notoffset our disappointment and frustration. When we arrived it seemed like there was almost as many staff as customers. Perhapsnot in the kitchen. We went there based on the recommendation of a coworker. He told me that it was amazing...we have towholeheartedly disagree. We will NOT be returning. Ever. Read more

Wife and I went July 30th and was the place was jammed packed. Somehow they found us a table and had us seated in a few minutes.... We thought oh we are going to be here awhile as it was so busy. Next thing we knew Anna S was at our table smiling and eager totake our order. Bang drinks arrived within 5 mins and we were assured our food order was on the way. Less than ten minutes laterour food was on the table. We could not believe how fast Anna was scooting around, all the while with a big smile on her face.Great Job Anna S and the young fellow who seated us. Great to be back - haven?t been here since before Covid started. Had a lovely lunch with our out of town relatives. We enjoyed... all of or favourites including steamed mussels ( thanks to manager Christian for locating a fresh shipment and our server Gabbyfor going on a hunt to find them ), fish tacos, and calamari, great wines and drink selections and of course the newer brighterlook and great ambience. We've dined here several times, and it's always a pleasant experience. Drinks are good, food is delicious, and the sushi was... such a surprise! I didn't expect sushi this delicious from a pub. Worth the stop, if you're in Brentwood Bay. It's very close tothe ferry too! Read more

Blackened chicken was too spicy for my tastes. Really liked the kale slaw and my blood orange gin fizz was yummy!! Man playing... the piano/ singing was way too loud when trying to enjoy a conversation with the person sitting next to you. Our Server wasnice. Read more

This neat little resort is tucked away at the end of a residential road. It has great views if you are seated on the scenic... balcony. The food is above average, friendly staff, only downside if I had to be picky is service a little slow, but good foodshould be prepared with love, so I understand. After your experience go for a walk on the pier. Read more

Went here for my wedding anniversary. Our server was friendly but a little slow at the beginning. The view on the patio was... fantastic. Nice heating if your cold . Great menu selection and price. The cider selection is unreal . My only complaint is mybeef dip was about a 1/10 ... I understand we are on the island but that was embarrassing.. as an entire experience we had agreat time, candles were put out as the sun went down and once our server was not so busy she was a perfect 10. We will be backour next visit to the island. We both recommend the maki rolls and the fried cauliflower! Read more
