I love Aversanos. I moved to Georgia and was in NY on business. I could wait to dine there and it's was #1 on my list. I... absolutely love their Key Lime pie and I was very disappointed. The elder gentleman who waited on us forgot several things andhe was very slow for it not to be busy. We, at one time, were the only people in the dinning room. I took the key Lime pie togo anticipating dessert once I returned to my Hotel room only to be so disappointed. The dessert was soggy and it tasted likeold limes. Because I had several business appointments I didn't have the time to take it back. Don't know if I do it again. Read more

I went for a family function after a funeral and the waitress was rude. Several of us didn't get our drink orders taken and when... I brang it to her attention she wasn't very pleasant and we still waited another 15-20 minutes for our drinks. The food was ok.Nothing to write home about. I felt rushed the entire time. Then when they did dessert and coffee the same waitress didn'tbri6out cream or sugar. When I told her she said "we don't have cream"... so we got milk which to me seems ridiculous for arestaurant. We ordered a lasagna for 6 to go. It was without a doubt the worst lasagna any of us ever had. Tasteless. I doubt if they used... any seasoning other than salt, if that. We were so embarrassed when we served it! How could an 'Italian' restaurant not evenmake a decent lasagna?! Never get anything there except for pizza, and that's just average! Read more

Had 4 appetizers, 3 mixed drinks, 2 meals and 3 homemade desserts - all deliciously on point. Love the decor and extremely... awesome staff. Was our first time and will most definitely not be our last???????? Read more

My friend brought back some chicken rolls after her trip to NY and shared a buffalo chicken one with me. I warmed it up in the... oven and grabbed the ranch dressing like I would for any pizza grabbed it out the oven when the aroma had filled the room - cutinto it and I never even looked twice at the ranch dressing. The bread mixed with the chicken cheese celery (dont knock it ) andspices was amazing!! I immediately texted my friend like I wanted more - We dont have anything like this in Atlanta - the closetwe get is a dry Calzone. Hands down delicious!! I dont even order buffalo chicken on pizza because its never fresh so I washesitant at first but not now- if I ever visit NY again I will be bringing some back to Atlanta!! Read more

I had dinner at the restaurant and I also booked them for catering. The food was delicious! The drinks were superb. The service... impeccable. It was great working with John Aversano on the catering. He was so helpful. And the price was also quite good forthe catering. I felt like it was a really good quality for a reasonable price. Read more

The strangest worst "truffle" pizza we have ever had. This "truffle" pizza has prosciutto, capers, and truffle oil on it. It was... so bad we didn't know what to do. The total shock and horror of seeing these toppings on a truffle pizza. But wait there's more. The calamari was frozen tiny rubbery round pieces. You can't even call it calamari, maybe put on the menu "round pieces ofrubber" instead. It was horrendous. Then you think okay well the buffalo mozzarella has got to be good, right? Wrong! It was oldcooked prosciutto wrapped in a brick of mozzarella with some after thought old tomatoes on the side. Absolutely appalling. Thesacchetti was their only saving grace and probably because it wasn't even made in house. I would never ever go back there for adinner. Maybe a quick slice of plain pizza if I was starving. I can make a meal home a million times better. This place shouldbe ashamed of themselves. Please google TRUFFLE PIZZA " and take notes. Read more
