Great food in a lovely place. I always sit at the bar if I can and enjoy the people. I always feel welcomed, comfortable and... happy. Nice cushioned chairs for a long stay and some great beers. Huge selection to choose from. Tonight was a 7.5 abv dark andsmooth. Read more

This was our first visit to the Clock Tower Grill and probably the last. The nicest thing you can say about this restaurant is... that the food was simply okay and and the whole experience was on the disappointing side. I had the Halloumi salad with shrimpon top. Whoever is in charge of the salad menu just simply doesn't like lettuce. I expected some other greens with this salad, not just a thin layer of arugula. A little bit more of some non-sweet filling greens would have made the salad a better value. As it was the fig and the honey vinaigrette just kind of overwhelmed the small amount of arugula in the bowl. Also, the shrimpI added to the salad to make it a meal were below average size and slightly over-grilled, a little bit tough. My wife had theseafood chowder. For $32, there really wasn't very much seafood in it and the portion size even then was smaller than Iexpected. I stole one of her scallops and immediately felt guilty as there just wasn't much seafood in the bowl. Finally, wehad planned to sit outside as it was a relatively nice summer evening. But when we got there the outside seating was veryunattractive. They simply have an awning stretched out over a very plain unattractive area. You can look out at the officecomplex while sitting outside and you are right near the dentist office! Not my idea of atmosphere! The restaurant reallyoffered us no reason to want to go back and try them again. Read more

Not bad. I'd give it 3.5 stars. The place is super chill. Great vibe to take a date or have a night out. The problem is that... the food is hit or miss. I've had some meals that were amazing. Then I had some that I didn't even bother to finish. Overallmore good than bad, but worth mentioning. If you're in a gambling mood, CTG is a pretty good bet. Just know you can come upbust. Read more

I picked up dinner tonight but have had amazing meals at the restaurant as well. I love to go for a delicious cocktail, (we... always end up taking note of the ingredients, but nothing is as delicious as when they make it!) Pick up is so easy. Had shortrib pot pie, soup dumplings and sweet chili chicken wings... What can I say?! Everything was delicious! I love to see what's newdepending on the season. Read more

We had dinner on Christmas eve it was decorated very uniquely. The service was excellent but I wasn't thrilled with the food.... Could very well been because of the choice I made (duck meatloaf) I will definetly go back and order something a bit moretraditional. Hubby had Partridge which I think was inappropriate for christmas ???????? Read more

My brother and sister in law love this place and we went to the Roaring 20’s Beefsteak Event... Long story short. Perfection.... Clearly the owner loves what he does and throughout this event he weaves a piece of culinary art together into an experiencethat will not be forgotten. Each dish includes his color commentary making it deeply interesting, whether it be the locallysourced grain which is milled and baked locally into a sourdough, or the fifty day dry aged meat..Everything was fantastic.Ambiance was cool. Wait staff follows their bosses lead and their passion shines through. I wish there were more places likethis..... Read more

Disappointing and overpriced. I took my mom here as a special night thinking it was going to be a nice evening based on what I... heard and read. The ambience is like an upscale pub that is losing its charm. I had the salmon and my mom has the steak, $27and $36 respectively, see photos. The food was acceptable but certainly didn't match value. The popovers were dense and flatflavour-wise. Seltzer was $2.50 and charged for refill. The bathroom toilet seat is broken and they have 2 soaps which they'verefilled with soap that isn't as good quality as the label suggests. The clock in the bathroom isn't working either :-/ I don'tmind paying money for good food but I expect at least the experience to be enjoyable and the atmosphere and services to match. Will have to be convinced to return in the future.
