Nice little spot .. food took a little time but was well worth the wait .. friendly staff
Country Kitchen Brewster had good food, but terrible service. When we arrived for dinner, the restaurant was virtually empty... (except for two cops sitting in the back and a group of gardeners sitting in front). My friend and I had ridden 60 miles on ourbicycles along the Empire State Trail that day and were exhausted. We came in with our helmets, gear, and saddle bags. Themanager or owner made us wait for several minutes while she was on the phone and then assigned us the smallest table (seatingtwo) out of more than a dozen available. While we ate, I noticed two other customers (both single white men) arrive separatelyand get assigned to the biggest tables (seating four). I have been to Country kitchen several times for breakfast and lunch, and just ordered dinner for delivery and absolutely... everything is outstanding! The eggs Benedict (any version) and Spanish breakfast have been reliable favorites. My kids lovethe fries, burgers and kids meals. They provide gluten free bread and I?ve had no issues with my allergy. I love the varietyoptions on the menu and how well they execute every single thing. Great breakfast options. Pancakes were delicious and eggs Benedict with corn beef hash were as well. Had some teriyaki wings... which were cooked perfectly and crunchy. Salad was ok. Want to try their waffles next time i come here. Great service as well.Coffee was good also. Read more
This little restaurant was great! The staff was super personable and kept an eye on us if we needed anything. The food was... amazing! I had the traditional eggs Benedict and the eggs were perfectly poached. My boyfriend had the Spanish breakfast, weboth loved the chorizo and plantains! Read more
Where can I start, this place was absolutely fantastic! Starting with a great staff, Alex was so nice and personal giving us... great service! And the food...WOW! We had a hot roast beef sandwich and it was one of the best I've ever had! And the placehas a great atmosphere. This is definitely a hidden gem! We are definitely coming back!! Read more
Went here for breakfast for the first time. I've been seeing this place from the outside for many years and never went in... before. I'm regretting that :-) It was a very good meal and lovely service. I always had the impression that it was take outonly, but that is not the case.
