Went there the other day while in Brewster. A slice with sausage was $5.00 plus change! What really upset me was the big man... working there picked up my slice with his bare hands, in the time of covid. Yes, the slice went into the oven but it was aturn-off because covid is not over. Read more
I have been eating here for years and its always the best. Stop in you cant go wrong.
I've been going around to all the pizza places in the area... the recent price jump in pizza is ridiculous! Charging $4 for a... plain slice.. The only saving grace when it comes to this place, is the size of the slice - it almost makes you feel not soviolated... where they get you is topping pricing, I can not for the life of me see spending and extra $1.04 for mushrooms. Themushroom slice crust was pretty tasteless and so was the gravy. I did however enjoy the BBQ chicken slice - that crust was verytasty and the BBQ chicken was the best tasting around... enough to warrent a $6+ price tag? Idk. The days of pizza being anaffordable lunch/dinner are over... the places that are charging such high prices for pizza, I don't see making it through theup and coming recession. I will never order from here again. Normally Mezza Luna is our go to but, we decided to go with a little change - what a... mistake. We called at 707p and ordered just a large pie with sausage and pepperoni. Such a simple order. We called at 845pmbecause no one delivered the pie. This pizzeria is only at most 12 mins from my home. When my husband called the woman thatanswered the phone asked him "did they leave it at the front door?" I was so disgusted with that comment. Why in the world wouldsomeone leave our pizza on the stairs and not knock was my question. We got a call a few minutes later from a young lady who wasscared about coming down our development driveway. I cannot blame her honestly. Its now 9pm and we finally got our COLD pizza.It was so cold it may as well have sat outside in the snow. They need to do better and it very clear that customer service isNOT their strong point. We will be going back to Mezza Luna. Their food and service is extraordinary. Read more
Sinapis pizza in Brewster is delicious. The food we had was outstanding. We had a number of dishes from appetizer to pizza to... Italian specialties and every one of them was scrumptious! Tried sinapi's for the 1st time today....I ordered 2 slices of Buffalo chicken pizza and a 20oz soda..came to $16+....each slice... was $6.50+.....there were no prices for anything posted, no takeout menu or anything. The cashier said to check the website, no prices either....guess taking advantage of hungry people let's you charge 6.50 for a fair slice of pizza..... Read more
