The SEGH is a pretty solid offering for the locals in the area. This was my first visit here and the whole experience was... decent. Things coulda been better but coulda been worse so I'll take it. The ambience left much to be desired as our waitressseemed to have their hands full the whole time. The food itself was pretty good. I ordered a steak which was seared just rightw/accenting cross marks were a nice touch. Everything came out in an orderly fashion and the only issue I found was the lack ofseasoning. Love it here. Husband and son enjoyed the penne special with shrimp, spicy sausage and chicken. I had the pork chopS and... cherry pepper with potato and vegetable. Delicious. Had the second chop for dinner the next day. Not included in the priceper person but the Bourbon Fig Old Fashion was yummy. They also have great hamburgers. Will be back for sure. Read more

We had my daughter's bridal shower there a few weeks ago. Helen and her husband run an outstanding restaurant. Their staff is... so attentive, the restaurant just so lovely inside, wrapped with a picturesque view out the back and a welcoming porch in thefront. The food is authentically Italian, freshly homemade and our very Italian guests are still complimenting the the foodfrom appetizers to dinner selections, and the cake! This is not a cake - this is an experience. Not a bit left to take home! Helen was incredible to work with, set the room better than I've seen anywhere, and she responds to you right away. Thisrestaurant was chosen by the matron of honor. I had never been there before. I can not wait to go back for dinner as manytimes as possible! Thank you Southeast Grille House!! Thank you, Helen!
