Tilly's Table is a beautiful restaurant on Tilly Foster Farm in Brewster. It has the perfect rustic charm and was beautifully... decorated for the holidays. We were the only people there at 5 PM on a Sunday, but a few other parties showed throughout thenight. We had a lovely table right in front of a warm fireplace. The waiter was very friendly, answered all of our questions,and never made us feel rushed. We were expecting the portions to be small, but we were pleasantly surprised with how large theportions were! The food was delicious and the wait staff were attentive. 1st time here for dinner and will definitely go back. I had the Chicken Milanese. Crunchy on the outside tender on inside. The... Arugula salad it came on was excellent as was the light vinaigrette. Garlic mashed potatoes were great. My wife had Branzinoand liked it a lot. Only issue she had was getting g skin off the fish which took away from the meal a little bit. She hadTiramisu for dessert I had triple layer chocolate cake.. Very good with a creaminess with no sugary aftertaste. Pricing veryreasonable and meals were large enough for leftovers. My only complaint was all the appetizers were seafood based and only 1 redmeat choice for entrees. My family has been hyping this place up so I was excited to finally go. However I must say I was a little disappointed. We each... ordered salads to start and an order of baked clams along with some seasonal drinks. The salads were great, we had the beet,burrata and rughetta salads, however, the clams were a bit burned. They were also nothing special. For entrees we has the shortribs, martini chicken, and the shrimp scampi. My short ribs were great and cooked perfect. The pastas however, were not. Thepasta in the shrimp scampi was severely undercooked while the pasta in the chicken martini was overcooked. The drinks werepretty good though some in the group said they were too sweet. The service was great and our waiter was excellent and veryattentive, he’s probably the only reason this is a 4 star and not 3 star review. I’m told by those in my party this was nota typical Tilly’s experience. They say that usually everything is excellent, so maybe we just caught them on an off day. Andto be fair , my food (salad+short ribs) was all pretty good but the rest of my party couldn’t say the same. But i wouldpersonally give Tilly’s another try. Read more
