This is a small, casual, takeout spot with a few tables (inside and out, if you?d like to stay and eat), but MOST IMPORTANTLY,... their tacos are EXCELLENT! I had the vegetarian ones and was surprised at how flavorful they were. Also, the host/server Jeffreywas great! He was very attentive and gave us advice on which tacos to pick. WE WILL BE BACK! Don't just walk..RUN to this place! This place is the real mexican deal. As the name says, authentic Mexican. By surprise we... ran into this place and we are so happy we did. Small family owned and from the moment we sat down, we were well attended andthe salsa and chips were so fresh. I knew we were in for a real treat. They have been opened for a year and I will continue tocome and support small business. I got the red chilaquiles (very traditional breakfast dish) with red sauce. It is very spicybut very flavorful. The other dish is chicken enchiladas with a green sauce. Fresh and tangy and then I got a side of roastedjalapeños. So I'm happy to say, this is my new favorite Mexican place near by! A sweet family run business who take care of you, serve substantial portions that will fill even a tall person like me up and... have crunchy homemade chips and a great salsa selection. As you know from my other reviews you can tell everything about aMexican restaurant by the quality of their salsa selection. And Maya's has delicious salsas that are both mild and spicy.
