Cute place I have wanted to try this place for years. I drove by a number of times. Nice location the wine was ok. I wished they... had better food selections. Staff was friendly. The tasting area was cute but other wineries in the area have better tastingareas. But you have to come here they have a nice outdoor area and great view of the vines. Read more

This is an amazing winery. Beautiful setting, unpretentious presentation, very pleasant staff, wide selection of excellent... wines! Our host, Anthony, was enthusiastic and directed us to the wines he thought we would prefer. And we did - we broughtmany home. Owning a winery in upstate New York ourselves, we wanted to know about the vineyard and wine making. Anthony hadall of the answers. Highly recommend going to Channing Daughters. Read more

We were walk-ins on a very cold and rainy day. The staff was accommodating and said there was about an hour window in between... those with reservations (which they only take 6+ people) ? just enough time for one glass of wine. I had the 2017 Sauvignon andfriends had the Over and Over and the Research Cab. All were super delicious. I bought a bottle of the Sav before leaving. Staffwas adorably quirky and lovely to talk with ? very knowledgeable of the winery and the soil! I would suggest making sure thatthere was some type of heat lamps or something when the weather takes a dip or bring a blanket because all of the seating isoutside. Also, while we didn?t get any snacks, they come in their original packaging so be prepared to bring home left overswith you. Would love to come back on a nice day and walk the grounds and see the sculptures. Read more

Our friends recommended this vineyard for our trip out east , and we had a great experience. Anthony came over to our table and... explained to us the history of the vineyard and taught us more about wine production as well as vermouth. We enjoyed lovelywine, and learned alot in a beautiful atmosphere with cool wooden sculptures. No frills food service but happy they had food sowe did not have to drink wine with an empty stomach. I've honestly never been to a place with worse service :( Maybe it's because I am not a local, but this winery only treats... people nice/promptly if they are from their wine club (which we weren't in because we were just visiting the Hamptons). The onlyreason I may go back is because the wine is actually pretty good. I would only go there to buy a bottle and leave. As soon aswe come in, we were asked to stand on the side of the entrance because we were not wine club members and they needed to look forspace for us; meanwhile there were handfuls of people outside laying in the grass, standing, etc. with their wine at hand (whichwe verbalized we were okay with). They let in about 8-10 wine club members behind us while we stood for about 10-15 minutes notknowing what's going on. We could not order a wine flight or any food because we did not have a table... while there were peoplelaying on the grass with flights and food on the ground. There was also an area with tables outside that others were sitting atunreserved/unattended so I don't know why we couldn't sit there and get food. We drank one glass of wine and left. It seemedlike they were promoting wine club service exclusively and were withholding basic accommodations for us simply because we werewalk-ins, even though they had plenty of space/ways to make it work. And if you decide to get a reservation, you have to paymoney just to hold a spot (which doesn't go towards your stay to my knowledge). It really left a sour taste in our mouths whenwe visited, I wish we had gone somewhere else. Read more

Amazing service from Anthony, and when we asked about trying a small taste of one of the vermouths he gave us a personal... sampling tour of all of them and we learned a lot!! The wine itself was great as well, but the level of service was reallyunbelievable. Hope to come back ASAP Read more
