This is one of those rare places where I have to debate with myself as to whether or not I'm going to tell the world how... wonderful it is. It's selfishness of course, but lucky for you my altruistic tendencies won out! This little gem of a place isboth wonderfully simple and amazingly varied, in terms of experience and menu choices. They were happy to make my vegetablepizza without cheese, which effectively made it a great vegan meal for me. The so-called small pizza was about 10 inches indiameter and about 2 in thick piled high with vegetables, and sitting on a yummy pesto sauce! Our server, Jayden, waspersonable, listened well and followed up throughout the meal. They have seating outside and air conditioned seating inside. We just stopped for breakfast and had some good omelettes, both custom. The options are good, food was tasty and a lot to eat.... Without finishing our dishes, we had enough to eat until the evening... Service was great and very friendly. The interior isoddish/rustic and there is outside seating as well. Read more
Very nice and quiet place. The rooms are basic but with everything you need to spend a great night. The staff is very friendly... and helpful. Our cottage was by the river and in the morning we could it the water nearby. Very relaxing. The kids enjoyed thelarge outdoor spaces and had a lot of fun with the corn hole. They provided each cottage with fish food so that the kids canfeed the trout they grow to repopulate the river. Great place!!! Read more
I love staying at this place. It?s great. I usually stay in what is called tent cabins. The beds are a little hard. But room... overlook is great. They now offer free showers to the campground area now. Fishing right in camp was great too. Read more
We were starving after a long drive from the Bay Area. The menu was shockingly expensive, over $20 for basic spaghetti and... meatballs. I'm used to high Bay Area prices, but this was above and beyond. Nothing really under $20, so we thought we were infor a gourmet experience. Wrong. The soup and salad were good, but our entrees were horrible. Watery flavorless sauces, mymeatballs had bone grit ground into them and were tough and nasty, the Michael's Chicken had undercooked gristly thigh chunksswimming in sauce, which the server slopped all over the table and didn't clean up. The salt shaker and Parmesan shakers didn'trelease any salt or cheese. We were supposed to get garlic bread, it never arrived until the end when we asked about it. $80for three people, and all of us were disappointed. This was one of the worst meals for the price I've ever had. I guess theypride themselves on large portions, but a large portion of gross food isn't a good deal. I'd rather have less and have it bebetter quality food. The pizzas looked decent, but we didn't get that, since we just had pizza the night before. Read more
Worth every penny! Had an awesome stay at the lodge, super comfortable, cozy and relaxing. Had everything we needed on a snowy... night. Really lovely staff and we enjoyed feeding the trout. Thanks again ???? Read more
