Me and some members of ATM Ministries went here for dinner, it was a couples night out and the food here is awesome and that’s... coming from someone who has been in the restaurant industry for 34 years. I will be going back but don’t be surprised by theprices. They are a bit high priced on their steaks for the normal working class but if you wanna spoil yourself GO here! Went on a Sunday afternoon. First checked their site for a reservation and it showed fully booked. Then tried calling and no... answer. Decided to take a drive and take a chance. We arrived and there was plenty of seating inside and out. Had some livemusic which was excellent, the 2 guys can really sing, we would go and have drinks just to listen to them. Ordered a sangria,$14 and had zero alcohol and tasted nothing like a sangria. I will order a beer next time. Fried calamari was really good,seasoned and cooked perfect. Caesar salad was weak. Roasted fingerling potatoes had no seasoning, had to ask for salt. Misosalmon was cooked perfectly and was a huge piece. I started eating if before I took the pick. I've been here several times since moving to CT and they never disappoint. There are times that I feel that the bar staff... completely ignores you, however, I give the benefit of the doubt that it's beause they don't see that you're ready. The view isamazing, they sometimes have live music available, and there is a super nice vintage vehicle in the lobby that makes a goodmemorable photo! All in all, if recommend this as a go to spot whether you're alone, with friends, or even for a party ????. -T Read more
The oysters here are the star, in freshness and presentation. They had 5 or 6 varieties and we ordered them all, which all came... out labeled so we knew which were our faves. We also ordered some entrees and drinks that were yummy, lots to choose from on themenu. They also had an acoustic guitar player on the outdoor patio which we loved all of the vibes of. Went there on mother's day without a reservation and was able to sit at the bar. We had brunch with mimosas and a couple of... other drinks. The ambiance was top notch and the bar tenders/servers were terrific. A guitarist was playing and singing in thebackground. The food and drinks were great and the place was clean and very nice aesthetically. Overall an excellent experience. Read more
Have been here a few times, beautiful location. Outdoor seating is great. Bar is big and has lots of seating. During warm... weather there is also an outdoor bar which is great. Unfortunately the food is ehhh. Nothing outstanding unfortunately. Thistime we started with clam chowder and the bacon app. The clam chowder was not bad but underwhelming. It needed salt and thefried clam on top was chewy and not crispy. The bacon was okay but a little too sweet. The lobster salad was adisappointment. Im not sure how this could hat, but the lobster had absolutely no flavor. The fried shrimp meal was okay. Idefinitely would recommend Boca for atmosphere and outdoor dining but the food is just average. Read more
Boca Oyster Bar is legit! Location is very relaxing, menu offers a variety of choices, staff are all attentive and the overall... ambiance in and outside of the restaurant is just phenomenal. One dish is mostly good for 2 and love the white chocolate cremeBrulee. Great place for celebrations or to just have a night out. See it for yourself! Read more
The restaurant is at seafront in a beautiful construction in Bridgeport. It has a beautiful interior bar but it lacks on the... decor. The servers are attentive and good. The wine list is short but with great selections for every price point. The food isgreat for the $, the lobster ravioli and chicken Milanese stack were amazing and the smokin bacon as an appetizer closed thedeal. Read more
