This place has succeeded in many folks opinions as the bet Italian restaurant in an area full of Italian restaurants. From the... moment you sit down, one realizes that this is a notch above the others. The quality of the bread and olive oil immediatelyplaced on the table is an indication that everything here has been carefully thought out and sourced. I'm a big here and haveeaten by my self at the bar or with a family group of 12 people - never disappointed! Read more

I found this wonderful Trattoria on the Internet when I needed to find a place for a family Christmas lunch close to the... Bridgeport ferry for those coming from Long Island. After reading the reviews I decided this was the place for us and it was.The good was fabulous from the antipasti to the dessert... Parpadelle with mushrooms and black truffle, Risotto with seafood, and Gnocchi, just to name a few. The service was excellent and we had a lovely chat with the owner, Pasquale, who is originallyfrom Sorrento. We will definitely be going back!! Read more

Last night we were driving back from Boston to NYC and got tempted for good Italian food. After doing a quick search we came... across this restaurant, and we couldn’t be happier! Amazing all across the board. The food, the wine, and for most theservice. We were their last table of the night, and did not feel rushed. They provided excellent service. We highly recommendit, whenever in CT or if you are driving by on I95, stop by. It’s just 5 minutes away! Read more

This my second review after I got a personal tour of the wood burning oven that came from Italy. Not just any brick oven will... do for this place. Pasquale explained the way the bricks absorb the heat vs reflect which, when combined with the dough withflour from Italy (of course) you get a pizza (among other dishes) that make you want to cry! Love this place! Read more

Went here after looking up the reviews and our first impressions were good. There is street parking but on a Friday night it is... likely going to be packed. Fortunately there is a parking garage right next door. The decor of the restaurant is vibrant, fullof art and vintage photographs. The atmosphere feels modern and intimate. The owners are on site and very welcoming tocustomers. We ordered a selection of dishes: lasagna, gnocchi, risotto, Margherita pizza, meatballs... all were cooked toperfection. The pasta was fresh and delicious and the food came out at a great pace. We ended the night with an order ofhomemade tiramisu which was worth every calorie along with a light strawberry gelato which ended the evening perfectly. This wasour first visit but won't be our last! Read more

My friends and I visited today. We tried nine different items from the menu, and every single dish was amazing. Excellent... service and great atmosphere. The owner served us personally, and he couldn't be nicer. We'll be going back soon! Read more

Wow! What an amazing experience all around! From service to food everything exceeded our expectations! We were unsure of what to... start with so the chef came out offered a few suggestions and made us a selection of appetizers to start which were out of thisworld. He then came back out an offered a few suggestions for family style entree so we could experience a little bit ofeverything. You could really tell how much they love and enjoy food and entertaining guests. We can't wait to go back! Read more
