Overall horrible experience. Stopped in for Sunday dinner. Restaurant was about 2/3 full. No waiting for a table. Waitress... was quick to take order and initially quick on the refills. The parking lot, retail and dining areas were relatively clean. Thats where any positivity ends. Twenty-five minutes after placing my order I'm told that they no longer have what I ordered andwas asked if I wanted to pick something else. (I checked my watch) No menu was provided until I requested one. Then I was toldthat pot roast and roast beef are the same thing. It is not. Once my order arrives the food looks like it was slopped on theplate, the gravy had a thick skin over it as if it had been under a heat lamp for a while, the chicken was dry, mashed potatoeshad the constancy of being stored in refrigerator for a day (chunky, had a container imprint on the bottom of them) and the macn cheese was luke warm and greasy. No silverware was provided when the food was brought out. The picture was taken whilewaiting for our silverware, which was another 2-3 minutes. The waitress was pro-active in addressing the fact I was"disappointed" that they ran out of the Sunday special and charged me for that instead of my alternate order. That grandgesture saved me about $1.20. I don't have an issue with the fact that the kitchen ran out of a promoted special. It happens. But only finding out nearly a half hour after waiting for my dinner and how the waitress addressed it is an issue. Compoundedwith the quality of the food makes me hesitant to ever visit a Cracker Barrel in the future. Definitely would never visit thislocation again; which is a shame as I have visited that location and Cracker Barrel in general for over 30 years. Never had anexperience like this at any location. It was my first time ordering car side online. I won?t make that mistake again. I gave a $10 tip before I even got to the... restaurant but waited in the parking lot 10 minutes after I used the website to check in. Then had to go in myself to get thefood! Food was great but it was cold. We ordered cod and got something else along with the cod but it was okay, just soggierand colder then I would have liked. Read more

The service was excellent. The food however, was not as good as it has been in the past. So was a bit disappointed. My husband... had the catfish, he said it was very dry. The cornbread was also a not so pleasant experience. They are little muffins and werelacking in moisture. Even using 2 packs of butter on each half didn't have them. The baked potato was cooked to perfection andmy burger with garlic butter was also tasty. I asked for medium and it was done correctly. I will go again with hopes theexperience was just a fluke. Nice Cracker Barrel serving the Frankenmuth area of MI. Very standard but what you expect out of a Cracker Barrel. Decent food.... Most made fresh or from scratch. Good quality but no seasoning. ( Old folks) The steak I ordered did have a garlic butter on itwhich was good. The staff was shocked I didn't want steak sauce, goes to show the quality of the meat. But it was cookedperfectly so wasn't really necessary. Everything else was good. As stated, if you know Cracker Barrel you know what toexpect. The standout was the staff. They were excellent. Our waiter was one of the best we've ever had. If you like CrackerBarrel you'll love this location. If you don't care for it, it's not going to change your mind. Recommended. Read more

I am going to give our experience 5 stars. The manager and other workers were so polite and friendly. Our meal was great and so... filling. We got so much food and prices were very good for how much food you get. The steak was probably one of the bestseasoned ones I have ever had. Cooked the way I wanted and just overall fantastic. I have been to cracker barrel once before in my life. The experience and food was so bad I never went back. That was in South... Texas. I was delivering up here in the area and wanted to test myself to a nice restaurant sit in meal. Now this experience wasthe complete opposite of my first. The food had so much flavor and the portions were perfect. I would visit this cracker barrelagain if I'm ever in the area. Oh the fire burning and the logs crackling. This cracker barrel is a little hidden. So overall, this cracker barrel is dirty. The bathroom had stalls without toilet paper,... human feces that looked like they had been there for a long time that have never been properly cleaned. The trash cans needemptied. The store part of it was fine. The tables we left dirty, some left dirty during our entire meal. We waited 30 minutesfor a table, while there were available tables. So they are understaffed. The chicken friend chicken was good. The French toastwas more like toast. So no sweetness. Only a little bit of egg. Our waitress was nice. Read more
