Although the sandwich I had was pretty good, the quality of the lettuce that is provided as part of the salad was not... acceptable. Having completely spoiled and / or rotting lettuce mixed in the salad can result in people getting very sick. Nowif this were a one time thing, I might have been understanding to this being a simple mixup. This has happened the last 2 timesI have also been here over the span of the past 2 months. I have no idea how this continues to pass health And safetyinspections. Until they start following proper procedures for maintaining leaf greens, I cannot recommend anyone to eat at thislocation in an effort to protect the health of the general public. In addition to the health issue identified above, it tooknearly 30 minutes to get my food and there was a total of 4 people in the restaurant when I placed my order. This should havebeen 10 minutes max. And to provide a fair objective opinion, I regularly frequent the McAlister?s in Wentzville. I have neverhad an issue with the salads or food at that location so it should not be a lettuce quality / distribution problem for the chainand the service there is very quick. I typically order via GrubHub, but had some summer interns this year that I wanted to take to lunch, and McAlister?s was the... place of choice. Apparently the male interns had been visiting quite often. It was a very clean restaurant, nice employees andthe food was just as good as it is every time I order it, I just had the experience of having them plate it and bring it to mytable this time. ???? And I ran into a friend?s mom that I had not seen in months and got a chance to get one of her signaturehugs. If good people like that love the place, it?s definitely another good reason to come back. Read more
Went into this location on cell phones and handling customers food ordered salad was given warm salad dressing not a meat eater... and received the wrong sandwich when I got to work with meat. Called asked for the manager and was spoken to very rudely by awhite female. THIS USE TO BE A GREAT LOCATION, EXCELLENT SERVICE NOT IT IS NOT FIT FOR DOGS. Read more
Went in with my mum and the gentleman who took our order was so polite, helpful and patient with us. And the young woman with... the fiery hair was out and about in the dining area working her tail off, she was so kind and helpful to us as well. Food wasgreat, and of course sweet tasty!! ???? 0 stars!!! This was disgusting, and terrible!!! I placed an online order on 6-12-22 at around 4:20 pm.... I ordered $53.00 worth... of food...which included 2 salads!!!. When I got there around 4:58 as I was told the side door was locked! I go around to thefront it was also locked!!! I go back to the side and finally someone notices me and lets me in..I also was calling in the meantime and no answer! Soon as I was let in at 5:05pm! The lady says we not taking orders!!! I explained I placed an online orderat 4:20...they then tell me there are no salads...at this point I'm extremely upset! I ask for a refund and they ALL lookedstupid! To keep the peace I opted for two large cups of soup instead.... While trying to still get my order together two othercustomers were banging on the door to get in! While they finally let them in, the worker proceeds to say we are closed!!! It wasnot even 5:30 yet! When I received my food the sandwiches was all sloppy ....I'm VERY DISAPPOINTED AMD ANGRY!! this is the worseservice I have ever dealt with and I honestly deserve all my hard earned money back! We like this location because of the tasty food and decent portion size, even for the pick 2. Well today changed that. The... portion sizes shrunk immensely and what was provided was embarrassing. I ordered to go and after I picked it up at the counter Ithought the bag felt light. Went back in and let them know they forgot a bowl of soup and all the dressings for the salads. Anemployee said she just made it but it clearly was forgotten. We won?t be eating at this location for some time. Hopefully itgets better but it was ridiculous for the price we pay. The pictures say it all. The salads were tasteless and that is usuallynot the case. The employees weren?t bothered by the fact that they actually had to work and that the order was wrong. Read more
The salad was decent but there was not a lot of care given to the way the sandwiches were made in general. I discovered wax... paper still on the cheese of my sandwich and the ingredients were also disproportionate and distributed unevenly. Read more
Food is usually really good haven't had issues with food. The issues are always they forget something. Especially with door dash... deliveries. And it's not a small thing usually it's a large drink or two, or my child's Mac and cheese, or the bag of chips thatcome with it or our dessert. Even when I've walked in I have to check my bag and caught them missing something. I do love theirfood so I continually order from here, but they employees do not care If they forget stuff. Poor service is all I can say. Onthe good side the management usually refunds or makes up for it. Try explaining that to a 7 year old who wanted mac and cheese.Ordered this past week and again items missing, and they hung up on me while telling them items were missing. So looks like I'llbe moving on to a better service. Eventually missing items gets old, no matter the food. Read more
