We enjoyed our night out at the green olive. The food was plentiful and full of flavor. We ordered the calamari and nacho... appetizers. The calamari wasn't the best I've had (a bit chewy for my taste), but the nachos were great. The olive oil dippingsauce for the bread was pretty good. I liked that they had a variety of special drinks - we each got different ones and enjoyedthem. The meals were pretty large portions (I probably should have ordered the small portion, but I wasn't sure about how muchI'd actually get). Everyone left the meal happy! We'd definitely visit again. Very nice restaurant. The food is very good, prices are fair, not overpriced. They have a built in pizza oven and large counter... top bar seating. Full array of bear wine and spirits. They've had complaints of not treating people of color fairly. However asan African American, I've never had a bad experienced based on race. I recently had a large group there for a special occasionmostly African American. The food was good, everyone had a good time. The staff was very friendly and super helpful. Read more
My husband and I took a drive here for lunch. We used to come here once a month before the pandemic and it was always good and... decent. Today, both of our meals were tasteless. Between us we had mini crab cakes, which had no taste and were dry andcrumbled apart as soon as you put a fork in them. The bacon wrapped scallops were tasteless all but the flavor of bacon. Theboneless wings were huge and were over breaded, and tasted like plain breadcrumbs soaked in oil with some hot sauce. Their bluecheese dressing was good. We also had french fries. Went together with family here i got the linguine and meatballs tastes just like homemade made from scratch. I also got a slice... of red velvet cheesecake that was delicious! The service was also great hostess was very friendly and kept our cups full! Read more
Mark the bartender is great! Food was good, I wouldn't get the "saffron steamed clams" again, since it just seemed like a... tomato/hot Buffalo sauce. But otherwise it's a nice place. Read more
I didn't even want to give it one star honestly especially after my last order. I haven't been here in a decent amount of time... because our last experience there was not good but I figured I'd give it a shot and ordered take out for my daughter and I, wellwe ordered pasta and hers was pesto that the pesto was plopped onto the top of her pasta and not mixed in plus some of thenoodles weren't cooked all the way, mine was simply angel hair with meatsauce and my pasta was in clumps. Then they both camewith salads and they were both lousy with brown lettuce and mine hardly had any lettuce in it. I am the type of person thatnever complains unless it's really bad and with this I will not be returning especially after spending almost $50 on pasta!! Read more
If you are looking for flavor or taste, the particular dish that I got is not for you. I got the Pescatore with Angel hair.The... pasta was overcooked, the sauce was really bland, the scallops were not seared, and the crab didn?t really have any tastewhatsoever. The delivery time was less than desirable as it took about two hours to show up. I am giving this four stars, as ittakes a lot for me to give a bad rating. It was not awful, by any means.
