Absolutely amazing & fresh baklava. Haven?t found the same freshness nor quality of baklava elsewhere. I am definitely going... back for the kunafa and the food. The Lentil Soup is AMAZING!!!!!!! Authentic like in Turkey. I ate lentil soup there every day during my trip. It's nice and... spicy and Red spicy lentil style soup that not many restaurants serve. Kabobs and meat were delicious juicy and flavorful. Thedessert were on point and that's what they are known for. I would absolutely come back for the kabob platter and lentil soup. Read more
It?s an excellent start to an evening- with desserts from Turkey! Very much enjoyed the kunafeh but would recommend a smaller... size for two because we had to take half home with a medium! Love their take on it with pistachios in their sweets, and aspecial honey. Excellent service too- as first timers they gave us samples! Reasonable prices and lovely lighting decor. Read more
First time visiting here , if you're looking for authentic Turkish sweet this hidden gem is the best in Chicago area. Mr Hasan... freshly made kunefe for us, right out of the oven ( us being from Hatay,Turkey where kunefe is the regional speciality , it isvery hard to impress us with this dessert, we loveeed it ????) and the world's famous Maras Ice cream on top of the kunefe wasjust delicious!!! We also got baklava to go, also fresh. Soon they're coming up with some of the turkish cuisine items , and thefamous turkish breakfast!!! I don't understand where all the negative reviews are coming from?? But since they have new staffand learned that they are making everything fresh now unlike before, I highly recommend that you all give this place anothertry. Totally worth it. I tried it in Turkey but the Baklava and Kunafa are exactly same which I had in Istanbul few months ago. Very... reasonable price and nice ambiance for family or friends. Hassan is the guy you need to ask for! Try it for yourself Read more
