This location, 81st and Harlem, has no concept of customer service. I ordered online to walk in. When I arrived, I pulled in the... drive-thru to ask them to hand it out the window instead of me coming in. I was told that was against policy. I said ok, I wantto change my order from walk-in to curbside. I had already received an email confirmation that my order was ready. They saidyes, after much hesitation, and I gave them the color, make and model of my car and said I would pull into a curbside slot.After waiting for a few minutes, another car arrived, they waited a couple of minutes, and their meal was brought out to them,but nothing for me. I waited an additional 5 minutes, because I had my dog in the car and did not want to leave him, before Ihad had enough and went in for my order. They proceeded to tell me it was my fault it took so long for them to bring the orderout and that they brought his out since he checked in correctly on the app. I have never seen someone do their job so poorly andhave the true audacity to try and justify their actions at the cost of the customer in front of a full restaurant. I am againstgiving a bad review for one visit, but the responses of the whole crew were just unbelievably poor in the face of their obviousmismanagement of the situation by the manager. Stay away. Oh, and after all that I got home and realized they hadn't given mecroutons or cheese in the French Onion soup. Which is a strange soup, as I have never seen French Onion soup with atomato/vegetable component to the broth. To me, not a favorably strange change, so be warned it isn't like in most restaurants. There was a nice dead fly in my food. I love protein, but that?s a bit much. I called since I had left they said nothing they... can do. I spent $12 for nothing. Also, yes I ate one side and took two bites with the fly on it. I?m pretty disgusted. And mychicken was freezing cold like still thawing out. Not a good experience. Read more
I have been to a lot of Panera Bread locations and this is absolutely the worst in this area. If they aren't messing up my order... they're taking forever to make it. Once they told me I had not ordered. Took them a few minutes to find my order in the system.This last time it took over 15 minutes to make 1 sandwich and there were 5 people working behind the counter. Meanwhile anothercustomer was also complaining about her order taking too long. I have sincerely tried to be patient with them but no more.Horrible service. Find another place. Read more
I should not even give this place a 1 star.me and my mom when to go get lunch we always order the same things.My mom got a... mediterranean bowl while I got mac and cheese in a bread bowl.My moms food was cold and was not even chewable.For me they gaveme such a small portion of mac and cheese and the bread was rock hard.My mom spoke with the manager but she didn't even seem tocare.One things for sure we will never come here again. Always decent food. Went there Saturday for dinner and they were out of bread bowls. I had 2 to-go orders and dine in order. The... cashier never came up front. I had yell into the kitchen that I needed help. She helped, but continued having whateverconversation she was having with someone on her head set. Place was clean, food was good. The space is very clean and the staff is super friendly! Food is really good. I tried their new Asian chicken salad and it was... delicious. Their food is a bit pricey, but I think it?s worth it. Also, their outside tables are nice to sit at when the weatherisn?t bad. Read more
Went into the new location. Nicely done. Place is nice and open plus a nice outside seating area. They are horribly understaffed... and the ones that were currently there are horrible in customer service, the lady N****E who was behind the resister was soloand was super inconsiderate IBHE to wait almost 15 minutes for them to refill the coffee. I had to reach out to a manager andeven her was indifferent and really didn?t show much care, but another lady whose name I should have gotten stepped up and wentin the back and got me a cup of coffee. Given Panera has a coffee subscription program they should inform and train their staffto make sure the coffee flasks are adequate full so customers don?t have to wait long periods. The failure at this location waspurely the personnel who were just inconsiderate even though they saw a customer waiting and waiting and waited and didn?t caretill I spoke up. Read more
Terrible customer service! I ordered online got an email immediately saying my order was ready!!! When I get there it wasn?t... because they didn?t have all the bagels I needed! Why didn?t I get a call saying this! I wouldn?t have driven there and goneelse were! Before placing the order I called twice to know if they had bagels and no one answered the phone!
