My family held the wake for my mother in law here on September 1, 2022. We had called ahead a few days before to make sure they... could handle a group of 25+. They said yes no problem, well I can honestly say they did a fantastic job. The food was amazingand the service was even better. Our waitress Jane was the best waitress I have ever had!! She got us drinks right away and ourorders of food. We didn't have to wait at all. She remembered who ordered what even tho we were busy walking around and talkingto each other. I can't say enough about her service!! There was only 2 cooks and they also did a fabulous job so we didn't haveto wait long for our food!! I will recommend this place to everyone I know!! June 2022 update They survived COVID and even managed to give the dining room a face lift. It is much lighter now and the floor... was replaced. The food is just as good as its always been and the wait staff is still top notch. We were seated immediately, thewait staff was hustling. Interesting specials were available. The only thing that went south was that there is not as extensiveof a wine list. There are still wines, but not as many. The Nashville Hot Chicken sandwich is not really that spicy - but thenagain, my palate can handle a LOT of spice. Their hot sauce is very heavy in the oil department. It was a tasty chickensandwich, but not particularly spicy. The grilled seafood salad was quite good and the white french dressing is verysweet. Another good experience and we really ought to visit moreoften. ******************************************************************* Always friendly staff. Mostly normal bar food butwith a great chefs specials menu which is really interesting. Good, but small, wine last. Fabulous food and service!! Portabella stuffed mushrooms were delicious! French onion soup was awesome!! Homemade salad... dressings? yum!! Fish sandwich was huge! I found a hidden gem!! This place is incredible. Specifically I'd recommend the thin crust pizza or the fish and chips. Both are... amazing. Bee'z is a local, family-owned business and everything I've experienced there is top notch from top to bottom. Theyhave an extensive beer menu as they are attached to a bar where they regularly host trivia nights. The food is always fast, hot,and delicious.
