Greatest Book Store since Borders. This one use to a Grand Union supermarket during that same period. And then they also went... out of business. However, when Barnes and Noble opened up, that became like a second home to me. I can go to this place forbooks, Blu ray movies, monthly issues of Heavy Metal, and the Starbucks section. Even though, I'm a member there. Cheers to allat Barnes and Noble?????????????????? Read more

I like this Barnes and Noble. The store is nice and staff is very friendly. My only reason for the removal of a star is they... do not allow the Starbucks baristas to accept tips as their policy. Most of the time it is high school and college kids and Ienjoy expressing my appreciations for their efforts. I hope people see this and help move this along by submitting a letter tomanagement as well. Read more

It's a bookstore so I love it because there is nothing like exploring to find new authors and titles you would never have picked... up otherwise. That being said they have redone there bookshelves in a rather obnoxious way. Probably some genus at corporatelevel thinks making the shelves difficult to navigate will increase sales some how. We went there with our daughter for story time. She loved it. It was just her and her friend, so they even got to choose a book... to be read. She choose a couple kids books to continue reading at home. Read more

Sections for sale items, hobby lists, journals, writingimplements. Great gift ideas. Cafe to provide a respite in your busy day. There is usually someone in the middle circle deskto look up book information and help you find something. Friendly cashiers. An enjoyable experience for book lovers. Read more

Ordered some books from here because I?m trying to order less from Amazon, so even though it was a bit less convenient I ordered... online pick up. My experience was nothing short of awful. When I got there I went straight to the register. An elderly womanstruggled to find my order on the shelf behind her, because it was split into a few piles but that?s fine. After I hand her myID she started to ask me who the payer was even though I was listed very clearly as the pick up person. I tell her as much andshe starts counting the books, the numbers line up. I tell her the order is right but she ignores me and spends a good twentyminutes making sure each book title is on the online receipt. I mean she literally starts unwrapping the books which are neatlystacked and banded together and starts to go over them one by one, as if someone hasn?t already done this. So she?s talkingaloud, saying the names of the books aloud, as she counts aloud. The books weren?t embarrassing but they could have been andshe?s saying it loud enough that all five strangers standing in line behind me could hear. I can?t imagine a target employeetaking my online pick up items out of the bag and saying the items aloud as they checked the receipt. Anyway, I try to hurry heralong, tell her it?s fine, at this point it?s very clear I?m uncomfortable but she doesn?t care. The line is getting longer andsome people only have like one thing so I excuse myself saying that I need to get something from my car. I come back and lookaround for a bit as the people who were standing behind me check out. When I come back she still hasn?t figured it out. Nowshe?s insisting that one of the books in the order isn?t on the receipt. Eventually another woman comes over and locates thebook in about three seconds. This woman then hands me my books, because it?s not even like I had to check out everything waspaid for already. I was late for class because of all of this. Read more

Where do I begin? This used to be my getaway place! I would hire a babysitter for two hours and come here just to escape for a... bit. I would order a nice hot drink and peruse through the books and magazines. But alas, everything changes with time and nowit?s just a store selling books. I don?t even go to the cafe anymore because the people cannot make a special drink at all. Idon?t fault them; management appears to be inconsistent here. If you need a book quickly for a gift or immediately, this storewill do. This store lost its appeal a while ago. I?m surprised that they are still open. They stopped using bags a month or twobefore the plastic bag law and I just felt like they gave up. They were like, ?yeah, we don?t want to pay for more bags so justtake it home naked?. As a matter of fact; that?s what I feel like in this store. It used to have good vibes and now it screamswe don?t care anymore. Read more
