My wife and I went there for lunch today. Brittany our server and bartender was very attentive and offered a few suggestions. ... My wife had the lobster and shrimp sandwich, which was excellent and not sitting of a bed of lettuce to make it look like you'regetting a lot of lobster like some local waterfront restaurants. I had a burger, which was cooked exactly the way I asked, wasjuicy and very tasty. In addition, the French fries were actually hot and done to perfection. I do not eat fish so I eat a lotof burgers and this could be at the top of the list. Thank you Brittany for the great service! Be back again. Read more

Waypoint 622 Restaurant has my original review posted ( prior to COVID & the opening of Waterman's) as one of the top 4 on... their website. Unfortunately my new review is definitely not a positive one. I chose this restaurant for my birthday, on August8, 2022, because I considered it one of the finest in the area. We always dressed for the celebration, a sports jacket for myhusband & I wore a new dress . We expected the usual beautiful tables adorned with candle light, waiters well groomed in blackshirts , and a menu with a variety of gourmet meals. It was high end price wise but worth every penny. This experience, what ashock! We have had lunch in the patio area in the past, so knew that was available. We were told they did not take reservations& now I understood why. We walked into a room that looked like it would after closing due to the bare tables. There were blacktablecloths, no centerpiece, no flatware or napkins on the table. We did see four upside down water glasses, that's it. Thewaitress told us to pick a table---there was only one additional family seated when we arrived. I looked into the restaurant andsaw a ghost town of empty tables--what happened? Our waitress told us they only cater to the bar scene outside- Music Bingo ,etc. Why didn't they tell us when we called? A beautiful establishment was now another typical Jersey Shore dive. We ordereddrinks & waited for menus. The menu was very limited but we thought we would give it a chance as I had read about the chef ontheir website.. I ordered a chopped salad as my appetizer with the sirloin & scallop dinner. My husband ordered the WaypointWedge salad with the tuna special. Within 10 minutes a young waiter appeared with salads and dinners on hand...we didn't evenstart to enjoy our cocktails! The waiter looked at me as if he had no clue why we were surprised.. We told our waitress toreturn the meals. I should have known better, we received the same meals, they were just warmed a Read more

So disappointed. We've been here several times over the years but this was first time we were really disappointed. Sat at the... bar for dinner since we were told there was a 2hr wait (which wasn't the case). The service at the bar was extremely slow. Thefemale bartender was busy chatting. We had to wave her down for service as did the people on both sides of us. The food wasokay but a bit overpriced. However, our drinks were horrible. We both ordered vodka drinks whereby there was either no vodkain the drink or it's watered down. Next time, if there is a next time, we will order beer or wine only! Read more

Hosted my daughter's bridal shower last weekend and was extremely happy with the venue, food and service. They had valet... parking which made it easier for our guests and those that came early to setup decorations. We were lucky to have a beautifulday under a tented area next to the main restaurant. We had a lovely choice of menu from appetizer to entrée. I can tell youthat the tuna tartare was fabulous and the crab cake was truly a winner. Our choice for dessert was the Triple Delight and itwas a healthy piece of cake. Valentina was our hostess and was our righthand person the whole time. We had an extra ProseccoBar setup and it was a hit. Read more

Great views of the water, good cocktails, and tasty bites. They can even make many food options gluten free, including the... calamari and a few other select items I haven't seen gluten free anywhere else. Read more

Ordered cocktails, apps and entrees. As a vegan they used to have a really good poke bowl that I could modify. Wasn’t on the... menu. Ordered a veggie chili bowl (new). Took one bite and it was terrible. Manager asks what was wrong with it. I said itwasn’t good. That wasn’t a good enough answer. Wanted to know the details of why I didn’t like it.I said we came herebecause you had good poke. He said (laughing they no longer have a sushi chef). Unfortunately I am unaware of their staffingsituation. Other than it wasn’t good I really didn’t know what to say. He said “ they normally don’t take food offthe bill”. I said no problem dude….(keep the $16 dollars). Lol. Ambiance is great, food isn’t. My husband got a pastadish that was mediocre at best. Nothing memorable. Good luck. Read more

Pleasant to just walk in last night and get a table with that great view of the boats. Had a good cheese burger but my wife... couldn’t eat the seafood quesadilla, wish they just offered a chicken version as the brown sauce the seafood was in was alittle gross. Our waitress named Summer was very accommodating. Read more

Oysters and clams were sub par, beer selection was pretty sparse and service was generally poor. I remember going to the Union... Landing and getting great food and a good time. This place felt like a step down compared to what I remember. Also, lights area bit bright Read more
