Upon entering I was not greeted by the employees decorating the Christmas tree just inside the front door. However, I was seated... quickly presented with complementary chips with red salsa and bean dip. I ordered the smothered beef burrito, which did havesome beans inside as well, and an a la carte carnitas taco. They were not busy and the food came out less than 10 minutes afterordering. The burrito was huge and smothered in a delicious, medium/mild green chili that had a unique flavor. The tacos had agenerous portion of tender, well seasoned carnitas with cilantro onion and lime on the side. Two tacos would have beensufficient for my dinner but I'm glad to have half of a delicious burrito in a to go box for later. Read more

It was close to closing time when we arrived and we both have worked in the food service industry before so we get it! But we... asked 3 times for more chips and salsa from the same server and we're completely ignored! 3 times! The food was good and fasttook maybe 5 minute. Read more

This is just my opinion but the prices here are ridiculous. I just moved here a month ago and was looking for some good Mexican... food and it popped up on my Google search so I was like why not. 70 bucks for 2 people there drinks are like 15 bucks a piece.Unless you just want to blow your money I don't recommend, there are plenty of other fair priced place here in Brighton.. -Not a place we would come back to- The guacamole is green sour cream masquerading as guac (see picture). Disgusting. I?m glad... we had my seven-year-old son because he didn?t care and he ate it. The adults took one bite and decided ?hard no.? An averagesized margarita is $12.50! Are you kidding me? You give me well tequila and charge me $12.50 for a house margarita on therocks?? It wasn?t even a large one! This will definitely make us never come back here ever again. I had to look at the menu toconfirm the price just to make sure it wasn?t a mistake. It?s true, $12.50 for a house margarita. LMAO! Friday evening dinnertime. Seated immediately. The restaurant was maybe half full. The food here is just average or slightly below average Mexicanfood for the Denver area. Most things are overly salted and the ingredients quality is maybe slightly below average (Sour creamwith green food coloring sold as guacamole) YUK. They do however, put your food on a GIANT plate and spread it very thin so itlooks like you?re getting this huge meal. Lol. I think it?s still the same portions you get most other places, not sure. Theprices are, I guess in line with what is normal these days, except for the ridiculously over priced margaritas. I woulddescribe the food as; Just about like any other slightly below average Mexican restaurant in Denver (of which there arethousands). Pros: Easy parking lot with plenty of spaces. Greeted and seated right away. Decent sized menu. Reasonably pricedkids menu. Cons: -Sour cream with green food coloring sold as guacamole? YUK. -You can smell the bathrooms if you sit anywherewithin a 20? proximity. Gross. -Did I mention that they have sour cream with green food coloring sold as guacamole? YUK Justanother write off: Mexican food hell in food hell Denver, as usual. I know not to expect anything different when we are inDenver, but we keep on tryin. Lol. I?m beginning to think that the ingredient quality in the center of the United S Read more

Absolutely a great value for huge potions and a delicious taste! Start with fresh chips, bean dip and tangy salsa. The menu... indicates 2 baskets are included. La Playa, salad presentation with chicken is big enough for 2. Pecans, avocado and orangeslices are like eating the rainbow. The Mexican hamburger inside a flour tortilla, smothered in green chili served with beansand rice is a tasty option. Carne asada is a delightful palate pleaser. Combo 2 included a burrito, chile relleno smotheredwith green chile and served with beans and rice! With so many choices for Mexican food in the Brighton area, Lupita?s is amust try! Read more

We went for dinner and the service was friendly and fast. Our food came out hot and looked great! The shrimp was chewy and... overcooked for my preference, and my husband's steak was also overcooked. It was nice getting a bean dip and salsa with ourfresh chips, and the bean dip was delicious! We will try again, just hope that next time our meat is not dry and chewy. Read more
