Really disappointed because I was excited to try this restaurant. I ordered a vegetarian soup for my friend, and it had a little... bit of both pork and shrimp in it! She eats a Kosher diet and had to throw her whole meal out. I?m so confused how this couldhappen. It was such a small amount that it seemed like a contamination issue rather than an incorrect order, so it?s reallyconfusing and upsetting. Restaurants should avoid cross contamination. Edit to respond to the owner: The meat we saw wasdefinitely distinct from the tofu you're describing (which was also there). It was identical to the pork in my own meal, I eventried it to be sure. A total gem in Brighton as I had not had Yunnan cuisine before. This is definitely worth a visit and it is especially cool that... it is woman and immigrant owned. Had the Crossing the Bridge and the Jalapeño noodle -- both excellent, and great heat! Read more

Yunnan cuisine is spicy but less greasy and more veggies than Szechuan cuisine. Very friendly staff. Authentic feel and taste

It?s not possible to describe in words how good the noodles are here, the texture is absolutely perfect. The noodle soups are... the perfect comfort food, and the take-out/delivery is well packed and tastes as good as dining in. Read more

AMAZING FOOD. I've only ordered takeout, but everything is packed so well and tastes sooooooooooo good even when I eat it at... home. I've tried the hot and sour noodles, jalapeno jar jar rice noodles, stir fried noodles, stewed beef noodles, and thebraised pork rice noodle soup. Noodles are perfectly chewy, and the flavors are just phenomenal and so unique, especially in theBoston Chinese food scene. Read more

We love this place, but the dishes are so tiny now. This is what we get for $9 spicy beef. Only half size compare with before.
