It?s just not the same anymore! The food no longer tastes fresh. Second time we come and our food is old and cold. The food... doesn?t taste the same no flavor or color. (Frozen food) The portions were exaggerating small and sloppy served. Read more

Asked 3 times to have the over head fans turned off. They had them on full speed. Manager told the waiter to us that to give him... a few minutes and he would take care of it. 20 minutes went by and the fans were still on. By the time we got our dinner it wasalready warm NOT hot and sitting there with fan blowing us didn't help either we were cold. Manager didn't have the b*** to comeover to the table. Took our dinner home and ate it. Read more

Possible Health Risk update! This happened ONLY at the Brighton MICHIGAN location. This might only have occurred at my... location , I hope this does NOT reflect the other great Cracker Barrel locations! I just want consumers aware of thissituation. It will not stop my love for the rest of their meals. The French toast served my wife was a dark brown coat ofsomething. I did not get a chance to photograph the plate. The waitress informed us that the coding was brown sugar that wasmix in the powder of the French toast. When I talk to the manager he also explained that it was a corporate decision to add thebrown sugar to the batter of the French toast as a new breakfast item for their menu. The problem is is that iamb diabetic. Wewere not initially told that there was any sugar inside the toast at all, if I had eaten that as my meal I would possibly be indeep trouble with my blood sugar. As a diabetic I need to know that that sugar was added without my permission. I am angry I amupset because thankfully my wife is not diabetic but looking at the plate she refused to eat it she just canceled her meal. I amin my wife and I are original customers to the Brighton MI Cracker Barrel, we have never experienced such a radical change to ameal as we?ve been loyal customers to this location. I am angry that whoever made this decision if it was an error by the cookor if it really was a corporate decision to add sugar to a plate without customers knowledge I find this very difficult toswallow no pun intended. I pray that it is not the corporate decision that it was an error by the cook and that this won?thappen again but I just want to let you know that I am fearful that other customers might have reactions to the sugar that isput in the batter of your French toast. My rainbow trout Eye is absolutely delicious we?d love your food but the sudden changewas just too much and I had to notify you today. I am sorry that I had to change my five star rating to a two star Read more

My ham was over cooked, my eggs weren't done right. Mt friends chicken was just dry and burnt. I do understand everywhere is... understaffed, the Waitress did do a good job fixing the issues and the new loaded tater tots are a must try! Read more

It was good, could've been better. The waitress was super nice and attentive. I ordered a sirloin steak and asked for medium... well but it was cooked almost medium rare, still tasted good just wanted it cooked different. Some of the sides were room tempnot really hot. The biscuits and cornbread were good. The grits I had were okay. Pricing is good too. My cost was about 20$ Ithink, felt like it would've been more. All in all pretty okay. If you're going to get a taste of the south, you'll get a sliverof the taste here so don't expect much. Read more

Very disappointing experience. Took them exactly an hour to serve our food and everything was overcooked. Over easy eggs on... toast were too dry, scrambled eggs were like a block of rubber, the loaded hashbrown casserole was tiny and burnt, and the gritswere solidified. The portion sizes were small too. I've been to many Cracker Barrels and this location did not live up totypical Cracker Barrel standards. Read more
