I was here 2 years ago the the food and service was simply exceptional However, this last Saturday my family and I went over... there to celebrate my brothers birthday and I felt I was in a different place. We ordered the salmon dish. It was the smallest piece of salmon I have ever seen, And some vegetables. Shortly after that... arrived a manager comes out with a plate That had a beautiful piece of salmon on it. The manager apologized for the 1st pieceIt shouldn't have come out of the kitchen. We had a party of 10 and it went off without a hitch. They were ready when we arrived, no wait. The waiter was top notch drinks,... apps and then dinner. Nice selection of signature drinks that we all enjoyed. The food was great we mostly had the fish, crabstuffed salmon and white fish. The first review i saw sort of paned the place, not sure why? We have been coming here for over 15 years and they have earned 5 stars. The food, service, atmosphere, has remained great and... consistent. How many restaurants can say that over the course of 15 years. Whether it is date night, family dinner, or briningout of town guests - you can’t go wrong. We sat at the bar and started with the Artichoke Dip & Tortilla Chips - sooo goodespecially the salty warm chips. We had the Ribeye with Brussel Spouts and Cajun Steak Tips and Mashed Potatoes (wish we wouldhave gotten a pic). When we lived out this way a decade ago, we would come here often. An average all around restaurant. There is nothing particularly amazing or bad about this restaurant. The atmosphere is... forgetable, not really feeling modern or vintage. It was clean enough and smelled okay. The staff and service were alsoaverage. Some of the staff were kind while others just seemed to not like their jobs. We luckily got a good server who kept ourdrinks toppped off. The food is a bit of a let down though. The salad didn't have the crunch of freshness and the pasta wasvery unwhelming. It was by no means inedible. However, when you think you're getting a roasted veggie pasta, I would expect alot more than a few random chops of mushroom. Went here for my mother's birthday. Personally I loved the food but my my mother didn't. There was a weird fish smell in the air... too which I am not sure is supposed to be there. Service was great and I loved the Alfredo. Not a bad place to visit. It iscostly though so be prepared. Read more
