Overall the course is probably a 6/10. Opening hole looks great, and might be the nicest. Back 9 is tighter and more challenging... making you select different clubs off the tee. The signs at the tees with the hole layout and yardage are in very poor conditionand could use an update. Pro shop seems out of place in the middle of the parking lot. Riding carts are new and in good jobshape, push/pull carts (2 wheel) could do with an update. Greens are well maintained, fairways aren't bad perhaps a little long,tee boxes could use some work. Great layout, great conditions, challenging but fair, greens run true. Haven?t spent time at restaurant or facilities but golf... staff are great and course is a joy to play and worth travelling to from out of town! The Mike Weir connection doesn?t hurt! Read more
Took my grandson for golf lessons and Cameron is absolutely amazing!! Just makes you feel good and relaxed and even when you do... a bad shot he finds something positive to say about it! Also the staff are very friendly and ready to help. Read more
Great seafood chowder, had the encrusted tuna special also nicely done. Great service with Joel, beautiful view of the course... while sitting on the patio. Highly recommended. Read more
It was great to get out while it lasted. The course was in relatively great shape for the time of year. The big tree on no. 6... has been taken down so you can aim for the pitchers mound. The course is the same solid test. Looking forward to the lockdownending. Read more
Disappointing doesn't come close to describing my entire party's experience at this establishment on Sunday August 25, 2019. I... scheduled in advance a group of 14 people to celebrate a special family occasion. It turned out to be the worst restaurantexperience I have ever had! When the first people in our party arrived the table wasn't even set up. The waitress was beyondrude from the moment we arrived until we left. We had 2 menus for a party of 14! Can I get a refill on mydrink...hello...hello...waitress.............did she go home? If you're planning a special event and want service of any kindthis is not the place to go. One person in our group did not even receive his meal. No apology from anyone, I had to ask thathis children's meals be refunded to him. This should have been the offer that came with the apology for forgetting his mealaltogether. When our food order was taken we were not asked about toast that came with our meal. When the meals arrived the"hash brown" was clearly yesterdays baked potato that was being recycled by reheating in the microwave. It was dry anddisgusting. Note to chef, if a potato hits a hot pan it creates nice crisp golden brown colouring. Cooking 101. The final strawwas the waitress taking my mother's cash and never returning with her change. When we tracked her down she was rude stating thatshe thought she was told to keep the change. Like she deserved a tip from anyone. Today, I called the manager and left amessage requesting a call to discuss what happened. So far crickets. That speaks volumes. What a fantastic venue for live music! Having been a member of the actual golf course I can tell you that the course is... fantastic! From a music lover's point of view, the restaurant area sets up really well for events! Seeing Red Wanting Blue,great band out of Ohio there just last month, I can attest to the sound quality, the vibe, the solid service and the manager'sprofessionalism. Got an event?
