I brought my 2 daughters ages 12 and 8 in for breakfast on Sunday morning. We had a 25 minute wait to be seated being a busy... Sunday morning. When we got seated, Jim came over and introduced himself. He got down to table level and asked my girls theirnames and ages. I told him that I would like a coffee, "high test". He said that he had just the thing for me. BEST COFFEEEVER!!! He came back at perfect intervals to see how we were doing. Each time he came over, he told us a little about himselfand his kids. He was so engaging with my AND my kids. He talked about towns on the shoreline that most people around here havenever even heard of. Turns out, he and I know some of the same people. Both my kids and I all said that this was by far the bestexperience we have had at Parkside. We have NEVER had a bad experience, but there was something so comfortable and familiarabout Jim. If this had been our first time there, Jim would be the reason for us to come back. Both my girls were raving aboutthe food and the service the whole way back home. Loved it. Had the turkey burger. Delish! Gotta try it with cranberry horseradish mayo! Wow! Perfect home fries. Fruit crepes!... Generous and so good. Excellent portions and reasonable prices. This is hands down my go to brunch place. They are super popular with the locals and I went on a Saturday morning and waited 35... minutes. It was completely worth the wait. The food and fresh and delicious. I tend to get a savory breakfast so their signaturebreakfast sandwiches are my go to. Try the tiger sauce! It's not for everyone and it's intense so try at your discretion. I forone could eat this sauce with everything. Especially the home fries! Oh and call ahead to see when they have sweet potato fries!These sweet potato fries are the best in the state (and probably world). Read more
