I really don't like to give a bad review, but in this case, it truly is deserved. Their sign outside mentions their soups, and I... think it even says they're homemade. I stopped by for the first time yesterday and ordered the corn chowder I'd been craving fora couple of days. I paid approximately $10 for a bowl of chowder to go. When I got home and opened my eagerly anticipatedchowder, I saw something, but it didn't look like any corn chowder I'd ever had. I'm posting a picture of it so you can see thatit's mostly chunks of potatoes in a obviously non-creamy soup base of some sort. I tried three spoonfuls but had to give up onit. Very disappointing. Stopped in to BHOP on our way home from the British Invasion in Stowe for an early dinner. Our server Sheena took good care of... us, wifey had a strawberry banana daiquiri I had an Alagash we each had burgers. Everything was great. Been holding off on this review, but, getting caught up. My grandson and I went here for a meatball sub, his favorite. I cannot... fathom how someone can mess up a meatball sub so badly. Over seasoned, funky taste, dry, and the sauce tasted like tomato pastewith way too many herbs. The waitress was very nice. Read more
We ordered a bacon cheeseburger, asked for it to be cooked with a light bit of pink in the middle with lettuce, tomato and... pickles. When we cut open the burger it was bright red in the middle, and there was no bacon. The fries were ok though. Howeverthis has been the second time we have had an issue with the food there and with the cost of the food, the consistency of theirservice is not worth me returning. The cheese pizza we ordered was good according to my kids. The steak tips were not so good. They were like cut up pieces of... London broil. Tough and over cooked and overpriced. We looked on their website at the menu, it had prices that were muchdifferent than in reality. According to the website it should have cost $42. We got there and it was $65. We asked for abreakdown and we got one , so obviously the prices went up but the website hasn?t been updated. It?s fine but had I seen thereal prices I definitely would have gone elsewhere. Pizza is supposed to be cheap and an easy Friday night dinner. 1 largecheese pizza, 1 Buffalo tenders and 1 steak tip dinner $65. Read more
Stopped in for lunch today and my food was good. My wife's pizza was average. Our waitress was more interested in chatting with... some friends from another table about her hair style and come experiences than doing her job though. I finally had to flag herdown to get her to take our order. It was not busy at all and then had to wait for drink refills, etc. Tell your staff to paybetter attention to your customers and chit chat on their own time. Read more
Big disappointment I saw the bad reviews and thought to try it anyway but now I know why there are so many it literally tasted... like paper with sauce the pizza is way too thin and there is too much dough and it was really chewy even though parts wereburned. What a waste of 20 bucks and it's super expensive for very mediocre pizza. Even my wife hated it and she's very openminded. I won't be ordering here again. Should be ashamed of yourselves. Also the owner is making excuses for bad customerservice to people below you need to learn the customer is what keeps you in business. Read more
Bristol House of Pizza was an amazing place. The food was great, as well as the friendly people. The prices were very... reasonable. Unfortunately about 10 years ago it was bought and transformed into a high end vending machine. With extremely highprices and rude obnoxious people who's greed blinds them of quality service. Village Pizza has been our home for 10 years, givethem a try, you'll never go anywhere else. Read more
